There Internet WiFi services are very poor, there breakfast menu is mostly for local people not used as a continental breakfast such as they don't provide fried eggs or omelette they charged us. When you are travelling with family, your children are required this type of breakfast even though they don't have bread..they used mostly Turkish breakfast not continental.

Just big hotel other things small 😉
The hotel only have good position . Other things are for a hotel for 2*. All day noise from staff and quests so loud. I don't even can say nothing nice only reception ask me are you okey and they were trying to make my stay easier. It's doesn't worsted. I don't like it a all. Take care obout booking it's not cheap it's must be 20eur or less for night.

Good location friendly staff but facilities are dated no iron available breakfast was horrible (had to pay extra for omelette and fried eggs but boiled eggs were free) non existent swimming pool on the roof

How Expedia can have such a hotel such as this on the list is beyond me. My passport and may families were taken by hotel staff who refused to give them back to me I had to argue with them before they agreed to hand them over. The room itself was not sound proof and you could hear the other occupants breaking wind. There is no way that this establishment can be rated as a 4 star hotel.I paid £1300 for a weekend break which turned out to be a terrible experience I am now considering never to use Expedia again.

Could do better....
Has potential to be 4 star, but is not at the moment. 2 main issues; variety of meals on half board package is woefully inadequate for a 4star hotel and customer service. Most staff are sad to be there and not welcoming and the health facility staff are outright rude. With a more varied menu and some serious customer service training this could be a really good hotel. The location and cleanliness are excellent and Reception staff are helpful.

Grand Washington Hotel
We had 2 connecting rooms booked (so 4 in total) and from the internet pictures it looked idealic. However, some of the pictures made the rooms and the facilities a lot better than what we found. We had our bedding changed in 2 rooms but for some reason the other 2 didn't. The view out of one of the rooms was pipework. The shower cubicle had a door missing, so not useable without flooding the floor. The indoor swimming pool was not very big and as it was in the basement, it was dark. My son was not allowed to use the gym as he was under 18 (only just) but this wasn't stated in the website at time of booking. The view on the roof top was shut at 8pm when we went one evening, even though it has a small pool on it and the website showed an evening view. Booked an excursion and they turned up a day early. Booked a taxi to the airport and it was 25 minutes late, even though pre arranged and was a hotel taxi On the plus side, the main road and metro were within a 5 minute walk. The main sites Haq Sophia, The Blue Mosque easily accessible by foot. If I went to Istanbul again, I would not book this hotel.

don't believe the pictures
small rooms, bathroom very small, you need to do some gymnastic to enter into the toilet. we were 3 persons, they gave us only one key. we requested on arrival to change the room, they promised to give a bigger room by tomorrow just after breakfast. they kept promising for 2 days until we were fed up discotheque in front very noisy the whole night.. the breakfast is not exciting at all

I have been in most of the hotels in this area this one so far is the worst the room is small the shower is small and dirty the room was very noisy that you can not sleep from the AC noise from out side i asked the hotel to give me a bigger room and i will pay but they said they do not have bigger room !!! how come a hotel does not have bigger room !! !

Reasonable hotel to stay as a tourist
Clean rooms, polite staff, breakfast was nice and plenty to chose from, smaller rooms than what we expected but was manageable, hotel is in the middle of busy area with plenty to do, eat, drink, light metro is about 10 minutes walk, make sure to get IstanbulKart which is very handy, historical Sultanahmet is about 10 minutes by metro. Communication is a bit of a problem but somehow manageable. We would give 3.5 stars to the hotel.

I travel to Istanbul once a month for textiles business, i had visited approximately all of the hotels in Laleli area during this 12 years of my job, but i can say that the worst of them (in this class rate) is Washington hotel. The staff are not helpfull , the breakfast is like as a 3 star hotel, the WIFI is the worst i have seen in my life, room service is terrible as one night i called the room service and I demanded a plate and spoon and the man unbelievingly told me that "we won't bring plate and spoon to the rooms"!!!.. As a matter of fact i can say that the only good point of this hotel is the good location due to my business.

Mon séjour c’est très bien passer le personnel à l’accueil super .. La chambre pas très grande mais c’est raisonnable.. L’hôtel bien placé .. Tout était super jusqu’au moment où une personne m’a VOLÉ mes lunettes que j’avais laisser sur ma table de nuit !!! Donc faite attention à vos affaires !!!

So teuer vergleichen mit dem Service. Zimmer ist soooooo klein. Bad/Duschkabine ist sooooooo sehr klein. Service ist so schlecht. Zimmer war nicht sauber. Personal wollen nur Geld von den Kunden holen. Soe bieten die ganze Zeit ( sehr übertrieben) Massage mit komische Frau an. Unangenehm.
