The reception staff were welcoming and friendly but the hotel is tired. It needs updating / tidying up and just seemed a little grubby. It is in a really good location for exploring the city but I wouldn’t rebook if we visit Istanbul again and I wouldn’t recommend it to others.

The stay at Mina was very enjoyable, very clean and further more it’s very central to all the tourists attractions and a 2min walk from the tram line which connects to all the metro trams and trains

I’d stay again
Nice room little smaller than I thought it would be. Bathroom also very nice but not totally private if you lay on bed can see inside. If you start can’t see inside. Every member of staff I met was amazing. Rooms cleaned to excellent standard everyday. Location was perfect. Only flaw no bathrobes given as stated in description

Best hotel ever
Absolutely fantastic, probably the best hotel stay i have ever had , this is not a 4 star hotel , i would class this as a 5 star hotel , very clean and pure , beautiful furniture in room , toilets very clean , rooms very pure and clean , the hotel receptionist wete amazingly and so loving and caring, we had many amazing conversations and I would definitely visit this hotel again in the future إِنْ شَاءَ ٱللَّٰهُ

Although the rooms have good design and are very clean, they are really small and cramped with no view (we had two superior rooms which looked much bigger on the photos), the hotel doesn’t have any common areas, feels a bit claustrophobic and there are no facilities. They don’t even serve breakfast, the excuse being Covid, while most other hotels in Istanbul do. The rooftop has a nice view but again, not even a coffee machine there, though it used to have a bar. We felt we didn’t want to spend three nights there, as we had initially booked, and checked out after the first night. Although we hadn’t prepaid anything, we were still made to pay for one additional night for both rooms as the reservation was made through Expedia and apparently they still had to pay the full Expedia commission. Expedia tried to contact the property to sort it out but they wouldn’t pick up the phone and talk to them. As our time in Istanbul was precious, we didn’t have the time to argue and just paid the inflated bill but the experience left a bitter taste and we wouldn’t go back to this hotel.

Great stay!
Loved staying here. The location was just about perfect for seeing a lot of attractions, many of which are in walking distance. Lots of places to eat and a few local supermarkets within a few minutes walk. Considering it’s location, it was also very quiet and peaceful. Service in the hotel was excellent and very friendly. Room was great and very spacious. Would highly recommend and would personally come back there.

Excellent hotel. The rooms are clean, very modern and beautiful design. Great service. Very friendly and kind staff. Always polite and always ready to help. The room was cleaned every day, bed linen, towels were changed every day. Great location very close to the all main attractions like the Grand bazaar, Basilica cistern, Blue mosque, Hagia Sophia and etc. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend this hotel to my friends. Lovely.
What a lovely hotel. Decor was fabulous, very modern and pleasing to the eye. The staff are all very accomodating and helpful. Always polite and happy to help. For a small boutique type hotel the breakfast was adequate. Tasty but would be better with more of a selection. Only reason i gave 1 less than excellent review was due to the poor wifi connection and no english tv channels and the shower cubicle in the standard rooms are tiny... Other than that i would reccomend this hotel to anyone. The location is fantastic, within 5-7mins walk to every main attraction. Plenty of shops and restaurants to pick from.

It was very conveniently located, literally across the street from the entrance of the Theodosius Cistern. It was 10-15 minute walk to several major attractions, including the Grand Bazaar and the Hagia Sofia. There were also a lot of nice shops and restaurants in the area.

The hotel is great in very good location, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms get cleaned everyday which great. The only negative thing I will say is the WiFi, I am not sure if it is the hotel issue or Istanbul issue but internet is not great. However don’t let this stop you from going to this hotel because is amazing.

Excellent views from rooftop terrace. Excellent location for easy walking the historical sites of old city. Hotel and breakfasts are functional for a city break, with all you need, but not much else.
