Worst Hotel Stay of My Life
First of all there was nonstop construction going on all day and all night, so it was impossible to rest or get any sleep. Add to that constant street noise and ambulance sirens going off all night due to the hotel's proximity to a hospital. The rooms stank of sewage and were overheated. We had to turn the A/C on even though it was cold outside. The hotel is not equipped to handle handicapped or elderly guests. The breakfast was mediocre - and there was no choice. When we asked for a second cup of Turkish coffee, the waiter screamed at us and told us we would be charged for an additional cup. We had no problem with the extra charge but couldn't believe the despicable attitude of the waiter. Also, the guest rooms were tiny--literally as big as closets.

Nice hotel but two terrible factors
The hotel is nice and the staff is really helpful but the wifi in my room was just really poor! I had to go from laying in my bed to somewhere near the door. Om the other hand there is a construction going on and they start really early in the morning the sounds are really uncomfortable and basically they were just a headache. Other than than it was nice. But i wouldnt stay here again.

Interesting neighborhood
We stayed here for 7 days and it was a lot of fun. The breakfast is not very good and the staff are not as attentive but overall a great place to stay.

The hotel is in a great location, but ask for a room not on the main street. It was loud, very loud. The bed and pillows were pretty terrible, but the wifi and breakfast were good.

Great hotel and stuff, but terrible sleep quality
the hotel stuff is a professional stuff. everything was great during my stay. i faced two problems in this hotel. the first one is the renovation of the building next to this hotel. terrible sound in my last day during my stay they kept on working till 4 am. they were pouring cement. in order to use that they use pumps which sounds a lot. another thing is sometimes they trough iron bars from the building which sounds a lot too. my second issue was that rooms have very thin walls. i could hear clearly what they are doing in the room next to me. you can imagine what kind of stuff i could hear. i stayed uptill 4 am because of turkish couple having sex loudly. i called the reception in order to find a solution. i think they talked to them. because the sound went down like 50%. overall the hotel is good, but these things made it uncomfortable.

Don't Get Taken for a Ride
Everything good about our stay was eclipsed by the behavior of the taxi driver ordered by our hotel. As we understood, our hotel dealt with a specific company and our concierge assured us of the estimated price range of our cab ride to the airport after our stay. Well our cab rider extorted us for lack of a better term into paying a higher fare. He threatened that some unforeseen traffic would make our ride longer by an hour and a half and if he didn't take a longer substantially more expensive route, we'd miss our flight. And then as all dishonest cabbies do: he turned off the meter and waited for our response when we were trapped and well on our way. I am disappointed with the hotel's association with this kind of service and therefore question their service overall. Go elsewhere.

Hotel staff were great and good (lots of variety) breakfast was included. Excellent location. Only problem was construction noise (from other buildings which should be complete fairly soon).

Good hotel
Small and cozy hotel, very clean and comfortable room. The staff were very friendy and helpful. The front office staff spoke very good english, which was very helpful. The breakfast buffet had good veraiety, and if you ask the staff they will prepare freshly made scrambled eggs, which was very good. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Lush hotel, will definietly go back.

Great value, superb location
Stayed here for 2 nights. A 10 minute walk from where the airport bus drops you off, and a short walk to Taksim Square, the Metro station and the starting point for the Big Bus city tour. If you turn right outside the hotel, you are a short walk away from a network of small alleyways containing a number of great bars, restaurants and cafes, most of them very reasonably priced. Rooms are small and basic, but comfortable nevertheless, and was very happy with my stay. There was a bit of noise from the streets below, but not outrageous and nothing that can be done, so was happy overall.

The Lush hotel is my hotel of choice when staying in Istanbul, which I often do. Location, facilities and friendly staff are all of note.

Good location but very noisy hotel.
We stayed in this hotel 4 years ago and had recommended it to several friends. This trip we were very disappointed in the hotel. The hotel has expanded and the rooms vary considerably in terms of both size and comfort. We stayed before and after a Black Sea cruise and found the rooms extremely noisy with street noise at the front of the hotel and with disco music at the back of the hotel. The rooms in the original part of the hotel are quite nice and a decent size, however the new rooms are very small and quite basic. Both the rooms we stayed in were clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast provided a good variety of foods.

Nice hotel steps from Taksim Square.
The hotel room was nice, clean, and relatively quiet...it served us well during our short stay in Istanbul. They gave us a complimentary upgrade (as listed on Expedia), which was a nice treat. The beds could have been a little more comfortable, but the pillows were lovely, and the air conditioning worked great (a must for hot Istanbul weather). The hotel staff was nice, but their recommendations were horrendous. We were told to dine at Yaka Balik Fish Restaurant, where our dinner was terrible and the bill was astronomical, even with us splitting an entree. I understand that hotels have deals with restaurants, but this is one to definitely avoid!

I stayed at Lush hotel for a bout 5 days and i think it is at a great location with close distance to all major tourist attractions. The staff was very friendly and spoke ok English for the most part. The rooms are spacious - i was upgraded to a better room upon arrival so i cannot comment on the lower ranked rooms. My friends stayed at a hotel across the street from the Lush hotel, that has a Spa and a swimming pool and paid less than what i paid so for the price and what this hotel offers, i think it is a bit over priced. The biggest issue i had was the bad wifi connection. When a hotel advertise that it provides wifi, it needs to be working for this statement to be valid. When i raised the issue, they tried to blame it on my phone (i have an iphone!) but since i got good connection at the reception area but not any where else in the hotel including my room - this excuses did not hold. Connecting to the internet was important for me to google some locations/information on Istanbul, keep in touch via Skype ..etc. However, if this is not something you care about, then i think this hotel is ok.

I like this hotel, stayed there 4-5 times already and every time received complimentary upgrades and chocolate wine or fruit plate as an Expedia Elite VIP member. However the last time there was not even any upgrades yet along complimentary.

Great for a weekend getaway
My wife and I enjoyed our stay at LUSH, the staff are super friendly, and very helpful. I asked at reception for a bottle of champagne and some flowers to be ready at a table for breakfast the next morning and it was arranged beautifully. Our room was a good size, quiet at night and the bed and chairs all very comfortable. I'd recommend staying at LUSH.

Wonderful hotel and staff
Just came back from an excellent two night stay in Hotel Lush. We had a really fantastic time.The hotel was beautifully designed, and thought had been given to every detail. Our room was compact but impeccably clean, well designed and with a lovely bathroom and toiletries - the air conditioning was brand new and good, which given the weather in May I guess would be a priority for anyone staying there over the summer! The staff really made our experience there. Staying in a smaller hotel meant that we usually saw the same couple of staff on reception and they went out of our way to give the personal touch to our conversations, help us, make suggestions and generally make us feel extremely welcome and comfortable. Thanks so much, you really made our stay!

The hotel itself is good. the rooms are a bit small but for the money you give them it has a lot to offer. However, if you are going to stay in there, make sure you get a room that is not facing the street. it will be more expensive, but you will be able to sleep. The noise and drunk screamers will be there the whole night and they will not let you sleep if you room is facing the street. Also be aware the Exchange office that is 10 meter down the hotel ( toward esteghlal sq. ) do not exchange your money there as they have a pile of fake money behind the counter.

Great Hotel
I stayed at Lush Hotel last week and highly recommend it to anyone. It was clean, great location, nice breakfast, staff was helpful and very nice. As others have noted, the WiFi isn't that strong in the rooms, and there doesn't seem to be control over the heating (we opened a window and were fine, though). Otherwise, I felt it was a good value and would stay there again.
