Beautiful historic hotel right smack in the middle of Pera. Many things are walkable, and if not, public transportation is very close. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would recommend!

This hotel is a must stay while in Istanbul ! The history of this place, the location, the friendliness and the service of the staff , everything was amazing. Breakfast is great too. I think I won’t stay anywhere else when traveling to Istanbul, I was a guest two times already but exited for my upcoming trips and stay at Pera Palace .

Amazing experience at the Pera Palace. This is a beautiful landmark hotel in the heart of Istanbul, 3 min stroll to the İstiklal Caddesi walkway. 5-star service, accomodations, and amenities. This hotel has great history including a museum on the first floor. The lobby is absolutely stunning as are all common areas of the hotel. Rooms are too. Full service spa in the basement with complimentary guest access to its turkish bath, sauna, steamroom and swimming pool with an "endless pool" jet mechanism for swimming laps in place. Staff was very responsive to our emails and meet all of our requests prior to arrival. Recommend 3-6pm tea time which we purchased in advance via email. Highly, highly recommend this hotel for all including couples, families, and business travelers.

With its excellently proportioned, Art-nouveau façade and architecture, and the Orientalist approach Kubbeli Saloon, the hotel was built to charm. We stayed here last night for my wife’s birthday and totally geeked welcomed at the property, staff were friendly and polite room was great and had the opportunity to stay at Pierre Lotti suite and we appreciated for hotel management for their hospitality, absolutely recommended.

Classy, Comfortable, Charming…Pera Palace is best!
This hotel is truly Amazing. A classic and gem. The staff are so polite, friendly, and helpful. The hotel is of another time of old world class, but still has the necessary modern updates for comfort. The spa/hamam is divine. The high tea experience is a delight and a cocktail in the Orient bar is a must. An additional bonus is the Kevorak Diamond jeweler on site. The couple that own and run it are so kind and warm. They have some of the most beautifully designed jewelry and even helped me with a ring repair. I cannot do justice with words how comfortable and welcoming my Pera Palace experience was. Thank you.

Beautiful renovated hotel in Pera neighborhood. Within walking distance of all old city attractions. Rooms on the small side. Restaurant good. Excellent and very helpful staff. Visit the small museum dedicated to Ataturk on the first floor (open for a few hrs daily).

Hotel is historic & looks great. Staff is completely incapable. Some examples: 1. Since nothing is in print (been that way since Covid accord to staff), you have to ask for everything. At approx 12:30, I asked if we could have lunch. They said sure, do you want to eat in the lobby? No thanks, we will go to the restaurant. Response: Restaurant is not open until 3. 2. Invited friends for drinks at 1PM. Made reservations and asked if hotel had parking since friends were driving into city. I was assured they had valet parking. Friends arrived - no parking. Talked to concierge & was told that garage was full so he rudely informed visitors that they would have to find parking in their own in the middle of downtown Istanbul. 3. Came out of room on the 5th floor around noon. Single hotel elevator not working. No notice/no sign. My wife & I are in our 80’s. Walked down / asked about elevator. Advised that it was down for scheduled routine maintenance. I suggested they advise residents in advance or sked for late evening hours. In summary: the staff had no idea of how to deal with problems. Their attitude was simply, well, that’s the way it is. No flexibility. It’s too bad since the hotel is so beautiful and 5 star!!! No maps of the area/ nothing in print/no amenities and associated hours/no schedule of events/parking not available

Gorgeous property, extremely clean, and we got to have a glimpse into classic Turkish life in the early 20th century. It was such a lovely sight to see, decorated so beautifully for Christmas. Seeing Ataturk’s room was also an amazing addition! Overall great experience

Fabulous Location
Location is incredible and the view from our room was superb. Pera area is where it is at. The nightlife, bars and restaurants. The hotel was stunning. You can feel the tradition and yet updated and fresh. The Spa facility and Hammam experience was excellent. Coffee could be better at breakfast would be our only small criticism. Service was friendly and warm and the place somewhere special to visit.

The quality of the hotel and service does not match the price. The AC in the room did not work properly. All my family (4 rooms in total) had the same problem. We could not adjust the temperature, then we opened the window and it’s super noisy outside. We called the staff to fix it and they did in the first day but then the problem persisted the following night. The staff in the hotel does not speak good English. They are not service oriented. The bar is super dark and you can’t see anything. We ordered food at the restaurant for dinner and the quality was poor. I had much higher expectations.

Overnight stay in Pera.
The Pera is a great hotel to stay at. We stayed in the Greta Garbo room, which was spacious and comfortable. The main lounge is a great place for a drink and the spa facilities were great. Next time, we’ll stay longer.

Historical Classy Hotel
Fine hotel, excellent service, wonderful breakfast and fabulous cocktails. Our room on the 3rd floor had a balcony and faced the Golden Horn. Turn down service, amenities, all top notch. Loved the ride in the original elevator.

Pera Palace is the best of the best. Visually stunning, it takes you back to another era, full of grandeur. Almost like a museum! A treat to ride in the first elevator in Istanbul. My room was spacious, clean, and quite grand, with all the amenities. The bed was so comfy, it was like sleeping on a cloud. I want to go back just to sleep in the bed again! I spent a good half hour just wandering about snapping photos. The high tea looked like something out of a fairy tale. Picture perfect. Unfortunately, I had just eaten lunch when I arrived so too full to partake. The concierge staff was incredibly helpful, suggesting a nearby restaurant and arranging taxi transports for me. Only 2 small misses: The service in the bar was a tad slow and someone in reception spoke rather rudely to me when I double-checked to ensure my bags were being brought out. I would love to make another visit in the future, and next time I’ll definitely try the afternoon tea!
