The room we booked was a family room with 2 beds and sleeps 3. The front desk did give us the exact room we booked when we checked in. However, the next day the lady asked for more money. She said that we only booked for a room that sleeps 1. They did not tell us when we checked in, and we felt maybe there is something wrong with the Orbitz booking system so we contacted the Orbitz customer service. The customer service took very long, the lady yelled us very rude that we had been sitting in the lobby for an hour and we either had to pay the extra money or leave the hotel. Wt*?! We booked the non-refundable 2 days stay. There was still one day left. We also did not say we were not gonna pay. We just wanted to figure out what happened because we clearly did book family room. This was the worst experience we had in our entire life at a hotel. We were 2 foreigner girls and don't speak turkish. We felt she was taking advantage of this and threatening us. We did end up paying the extra because orbitz refused to refund the one day stay if we decided to leave the hotel. Oh btw, we were asked to pay much more than the difference of the two rooms if booking online. We stayed in a few other hotels in Istanbul and their service was profesional and breakfast was much better. There were still hair in the bathroom and strong cigarette smell from bedding that embedded to my hair. Stay away from this hotel!

First of all, the situation did not develop as the guest explained. The guest reserved a single room, but two people checked in and wanted to stay for free for the second person. When we explained the situation, the person made fun of us and stated that he would never pay the difference. While making the reservation, he wanted to accommodate his friend, whom he brought with him, without paying, because the picture shows a twin room. he made a phone call for 2 hours in the lobby and could not make the reservation agency accept the situation and made an unfair comment because he was very angry about it. kept the reception busy for 2 hours. his own agency did not accept the situation and explained that his friend had to pay the difference. I think he got angry because he had to pay extra money and commented like that. but the truth is; If you stay two people in the room, you pay for two people.

Great little hotel
We were only booked for one night but would have been perfectly happy to stay for longer as it's a nice little hotel in an excellent location with helpful staff and a perfectly acceptable breakfast. Would definitely return.

We stayed at 3 different hotels on this trip and this was the best one. Excellent value. Breakfast was good. The view from the breakfast are was incredible. The room was small but clean and everything worked.

At first i didn't like it but after my stay i knew its the best Great value to the room and the breakfast is freat with the panoramic view.. and the vale parking is the best

A comfortable & well-priced stay; poor wifi
A great stay overall, a comfortable spacious room, a sumptuous breakfast with a stunning view, a convenient central location. The wifi in my room, however, was quite week, could hardly use it on my laptop. Also, the reception person wasn't that helpful during the check-in: didn't provide any information about the wifi login and breakfast hours.

I have been sold room with king and twin beds but when I went to property, they don’t have any room with what is described at Expedia and they said information at Expedia is wrong. They also refused to refund.

Couldn't ask for better
A wonderful 3 nights away with a friend. Perfect hotel. Very clean. Hotel room cleaned daily. Nice location. Breakfast again with a lovely view and a large selection to choose from. Have already booked to go back. If you want to see the real Kadikoy and all it's beautiful offering then here's the place to start.

Nice 3* hotel with good price and location
Nice 3* hotel very close to Kadikoy ferry and metro station. Rooms are relatively small, but we didn't feel uncomfortable. Strong WiFi signal. Good breakfast. Overall, it absolutely worth its price

My stay during COVID19
Location, service, (WiFi 100%) is great. Staffs are very helpful, friendly, and caring. Our stay was during COVID19. Place is very clean and beautiful. Bus, metro, IDO ferry boat to bursa and to Izmir, and local ferry boats are in walking distance. Shops and great foods nearby. It was our second stay at this hotel. I recommend to stay at this hotel.

I do not recommend this hotel at all.
2 cockroaches in the shower cabin, pillows are not comfortable, the walls in the room are damp and the paint is falling off. The room for 3 people ( extra bed) does not look like on the ad picture. In reality it is quite small. The view from the window is not attractive as it was shown on the website. The view from the restaurant is the ugly roofs.

It’s a very affordable hotel in the heart of the busy kadikoy district. It’s got the convenience of restaurants (range of quality and prices, multiple food places and not far from some western pubs. The hotel room I stayed in didn’t have a kettle for coffee/tea which is a first. The tv they had was really small which is strange for 2019. It wouldn’t cost much to upgrade. The staff could smile more. The breakfast is really good with scenic views on the 5 th floor. All in its worth the money however a few upgrades would make it a lot better.

We arrived at Sidonya hotel at 9am and we were given our rooms immediately. The staff were very helpful .The rooms are small but spotless. Breakfast was good.

Friendly small hotel in Kadikoy
Very well located near the Kadikoy ferry terminals and surrounded by all kinds of restaurants. The room was pleasant and the wifi worked well. Great breakfast buffet with a spectacular view! Front desk staff were very kind and helpful.

The hotel is in a great location and there are beautiful views from the hotel restaurant and some from the 4th floor. The reception staff were helpful at times and a bit unfriendly at other times. The breakfast was very nice!

Good Value
Excellent location, comfortable rooms, clean and good housekeeping, good value breakfast, and spectacular views from the the top floor breakfast/dining room. The only negative; cigarette smell coming into the rooms, as there's no restrictions on smoking. A good policy and management of this problem can attract even a higher rating for this hotel.

Nice hotel that is close to major transportations
Friendly staff who spoke English. The hotel is close to shopping area and restaurants. The breakfast buffet is very traditional Turkish and quite delicious.

Good local hotel a short walk from harbour
This is a comfortable local hotel a short walk from the harbour. Fantastic breakfast on the top floor with views right across the waterfront. Comfortable bed and a quiet room where it was easy to sleep. I would stay here again.
