Nice hotel but noisy

Posted Nov 22, 2014
The hotel is on a quite road with no through traffic which was a promising start as were the hotel reception staff. The room was spacious and clean and very nice. However, I would not stay here again or recommend anyone else stay here as in so many hotels rooms around the world if the person next to you or above or below you has the tv on then in effect so do you. Sound proofing was non existent and the blah blah blah of the tv could be heard quite clearly. We we fortunate (which you shouldn't need to be in a hotel of this class) that after 23:00 hrs the occupants of these rooms turned there tvs off. However, I was woken up early at least 3 times during our seven night stay due to one or more tvs being turned on. This was a leisure break and I want to wake up when I am ready not because of tv noise. I always wear ear plugs when staying in a hotel so this should highlight how noisy it actually was in the room.

Pros: Central location
Cons: The rooms were basic and the breakfast was not good if you wanted a cooked breakfast.
The hotel is well placed near to many of the sightseeing areas, but frankly it is not a quality hotel. If I went back to Istanbul, I would not stay there.

Schönes Hotel in sehr guter und zentraler Lage

Posted Nov 6, 2014
Pros: Großes und schönes Zimmer
Cons: Der Stöpsel in der Badewanne steckte fest, sonst was alles perfekt :-)

Convenient well-situated hotel.

Posted Oct 9, 2014
Pros: Above all...the staff. Without exception the welcome they offer is remarkable. Nothing was too much trouble and one really felt at home.
Cons: Sadly, there is no alcohol license in the otherwise very good restaurant!
Location: Everything is close by...The Blue Mosque, Ayia Sofia, the Grand Bazaar and even the tram to the airport.
The hotel is extremely comfortable, the breakfast delicious and with a wonderful view from the terrace over the Bospherus.
