We booked a family suite which was perfect for our needs. The connecting rooms were clean, spacious & cosy. My girls loved the hotel so much they asked if they could live there. Special thanks to the staff at the front desk who were always on hand to help; from taking our luggage to and from the taxis, weighing our luggage and lending us a travel card to use on the trams. A special shout out goes to Sonya who laid out a delicious breakfast every morning & would very kindly put our daughters’ favourite sweet treats in the fridge of our suite, ready to return to after a long day out visiting the sights. We couldn’t have been happier with our choice of hotel.

All the staff were friendly and helpful. They gave us tips on places to go and would help us get a taxi whenever we needed one. Rashit, Mehmed and Mehmut at the front desk were very nice and the cleaning person, Sonya, was really polite and nice.

Excellent location and outstanding service
Sultans Royal Hotel is the perfect location for exploring Istanbul's Old Town. It's just a few minutes walk from the main tourist attractions (Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque) and many restaurants. The staff are exceptional and the service is outstanding!

It was a very clean property. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a few choices for vegetarians, though not very many. The stay was very comfortable. Great thing about the hotel is the location. It is hardly 5 minutes walk from the Blue Mosque. All other major attractions in the old city are also at a walking distance. I am not sure what is meant by VIP access.

The managers, daytime and night time, were amazing! We arrived early in the morning and check in was not until 2:00 p.m. The manager told us to go ahead and have breakfast on them and he would do everything he could to get us a room as soon as he could as we had flown all night. The first room that was available was more expensive than we had reserved but he gave it to us for the same price as our original room! There was also a nice a nice young gentleman who helped me late at night for an hour with my cell phone. Then there was Sonya, the cook, and maid. She was a sweetheart who went around at breakfast to make sure everyone like what she had made, She would go to the trouble of using the interpreter on her phone so she could speak to everyone in their language! When she cleaned your room, she would add a special touch to it like a heart on your bed or flower petals. That dear, sweet lady was worth her weight in gold!!!!!

I did like the location of the hotel, convenient to the major attractions of the city. The local businesses were excellent . I was happy to patronize two nearby restos for their welcoming nature. I was not aware if I had a VIP status and benefits or if I received one unknown to me. In any case, I would recommend this hotel if asked for a reference.

The hotel staff was amazing. We arrived super early and they were kind enough to let us check in in the morning and even gave us breakfast. They were super helpful given us directions and booking tours. The location was very good, about a 10 min walk from the main sights. The hotel room was a bit small and outdated but very clean and had an elevator

Booked a 4 night stay at Sultans Royal hotel and I have to say I am (pleasantly) surprised by the service provided. Good room sizes, excellent breakfast and superb customer service. We spoke to mainly Mahmud at the reception who is exceptional (I am sure same can be said about other team members too). Helped us with the local area and assisted us with making various reservations. Will be recommending this place to friends and family but will also book stay at this place again.

We decided to stay here after reading reviews of this hotel and it didnt disappoint. Mahmoud and his team were friendly, and helpful and provided great restaurant and touristy trip suggestions. The breakfast options were plentiful. We stayed in the ground floor room with two single beds. My only issue was that the beds were small single beds, and the lamp shades were above the bed in the corner which i had to keep being careful not to knock into in the middle of the night. Also the switch was right behind the bed on my side which was awkward. The Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, local shops, tram lines, and grand bazaar are all local and easy to walk to. I didnt take the trams as i felt it was commutable on foot. Overall, we felt that we were well taken care of and will definately stay here again.

It’s a gem in the middle of Sultanahmet, walkable from all major tourist attractions, tram and bus stations. Beware of cobblestone for taking heavy luggage. It’s clean, good breakfast and very helpful staff.

Confortable place - good value for money
Room is well decorated (Turkish style), comfortable and super clean! Internet works properly and the location is very convenient. Close to Blue Mosque but not in a busy area. Very quite to sleep! The only thing they could improve is the breakfast and I do not mean to add more itens but instead, reduce it but change everyday the variety. Its ok but could be excellent and enhance property's score with few and cheap adjustments!

Excellent property! Ideal for walking and shopping. All main attractions within 10-15 minutes walking distance. Sultanahmet area for restaurants are also within walking distance. The staff are extremely helpful. Both men on reception advised us of tours, places to eat and both booked our excursions and airport transfers for us. I would definitely stay at Sultans Royal Hotel again. Great service and plentiful and varied breakfast too!
