Good location, overpriced

We stayed at this hotel for a period of 7 days. Overall our stay was ok but could have been better. From the looks of it, the hotel was overbooked and was struggling to cope with the number of guests. We were 3 adults and had booked the room for the same. However, on our arrival, we were put into a double room with a third bed squeezed in. The room was hardly adequate for 3 adults. Only after 2 days were we given a triple room and that too on our insisting for it. We were shown a nice triple room in the morning and were assured the room has been allocated to us, but upon our return in the evening after a tiring day of sightseeing, we found we have been changed to a smaller triple room. The explanation given was "technical error" with the booking system. Bed linens and towels were not changed until asked for. We even had to ask for toilet rolls to be replenished many days. The hotel was struggling to cope with the number of guests which could be seen each morning when we struggled to find a breakfast table. On the positive side the hotel staff were very polite and tried to help as best as they could, but one could see they were overworked. The location of the hotel is fantastic as it is a stone throw away from almost all major tourist attractions (Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia, Basicilla Cistern) and that's what you pay for in the price. The Sultanahmet tram station is also next to the station. I would like to recommend this hotel to others but with a lower price.
