Overall, very disappointing experience.

I booked this hotel for 12 nights over the Christmas and New Year's holidays through Expedia, following other guest's reviews for being outstanding, but unfortunately it was disappointing.
The room was very small en lieu of the price we paid for. Staff at reception were unhelpful. I felt at some point that they are having some issues with me personally. In order to sort the rooms out, I also phoned Expedia to assist with the booking as hotel staff were unhelpful to change the room and requested additional outrageous payment 50 euro a night which we refused to pay. Expedia in turn were equally unhelpful, they even ignored our calls and correspondence. For me personally, a well travelled individual, it was one of the worst experiences I ever had. Therefore, my advise is that guest who select certain hotels, should not particularly follow other guests review as it can be misleading. For additional £200 over the course of 12 days, we could have booked a top name hotel in Istanbul.
We would rate this hotel 2 to 3 stars maximum.
