The hotel is located in a good part of the city. It is currently undergoing renovations, and there is a noticeable smell of burnt wood inside. Another downside is the breakfast. Unfortunately, it was far below expectations. My recommendation would be to skip the hotel breakfast and instead get a good breakfast at Paris Baguette nearby.

Parking in a university town is just difficult. Lugging suitcases down multiple flights of garage stairs and then walking several more blocks to the entrance was somewhat ridiculous for my elderly father. We managed but it was not good. The room however was lovely and modern with nice linens and toiletries, and was an easy walk to shops, restaurants and nightlife.

Checkin was smooth and quick, staff were accommodating and friendly, the room was extremely clean and updated, and the parking was easy with ticket validation. I loved the ease of finding food and the layout of the room was fantastic.

Tissue box had two not clean tissues. The room carpet felt not clean & dingy. There were no paper towels in lobby restroom. There was no complimentary bottled water. TV remote needed masters degree to figure out. However beds were comfy, towels were small but good. Shower was really great as was shampoo/conditioner. Staff was AMAZING 👏 😍 🙌 ❤️... recommendations on logistics of unloading and to get to & from parking were great. Although there's a high concentration of mentally ill homeless on drugs or alcohol all over downtown ithaca talking to themselves I'm only guessing.

Our room was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is centrally located in downtown Ithaca. Unfortunately, the parking garage next to the hotel is under construction so we had to unload and then park a few blocks away. This was time consuming, though the hotel did its best to alleviate the problem. Overall it was s very good stay.
