Badly in need of renovation

Yikes. Sagging mattresses, old furniture, curtains and carpet. Not updated with mini refrigerator and coffeemaker which are pretty much standard at all hotels these days. Rate was WAY too high considering the condition of the room.

Hotel under renovation but room was fine

The hotel is under major renovation so there were many minor (to us) inconveniences. The room was just fine and we only needed a place to sleep and shower and watch a little TV. The price was wonderful for that compared to other hotels in the area. We have been to this hotel before and will go again.

Clean rooms in Cortland,

We booked rooms with king beds and found the staff to be pleasant and efficient. the rooms itself were clean and functional and the lobby was well maintained. However,the hallways were old and the passageways had a musty smell. We had a pleasant stay with free wifi and the option to get breakfast in the morning for a fee.

Value for money

For the price we paid it's ok but smelly smoky environment not at all suitable to non smokers

Bathroom , beds

Bathroom was dirty. The toilet seat was filthy. Bed matresses were horrible. Made too much noice even when you turn. Wall papers in room and bathroom were coming out. Overall a horrible experience. Will never stay at ramada inn again.

Ridiculous! Do not waste your money here!

Pros: nothing!
Cons: EVERYTHING... tear it down and rebuild with new employees and new management.
First... I chose this hotel for the restaurant, as we were travelling 6 hours to my sons graduation the next morning nearby and wanted to be able to settle in one spot have some dinner and rest before the rest of the trip in the morning. Well.... that did not happen! First I walked into the hotel lobby with it disgusting, smells and first thing you see is the pool shutdown, I did not read many review beforehand considering it's a ramada and thought I wouldn't be so dissapointed. Second, the lady at the desk never acknowledged me, never told me the pool was closed, yet yes it was obvious but still, and never told me the fitness room was also closed. I noticed the door to the restaurant over on the left so figured hell at least the restaurant is here. She told me I had to drive around the building to get to my room, so this is a motel not a hotel!! Walked into the door and wow I'm a smoker and this place smells gross, but not just that the carpet and walls were disgusting. I got to my room, it was blah... bathroom seemed clean and only 1 thing is the bed was comfy pillows sucked though. No fridge no bedding for the pull out couch either!!!! I still said okay move along at least there is dinner right here.. my family had also travelled to but stayed elsewhere but we had the plan to meet at the restaurant along with my son travelling up to us... NEVER HAPPENED it was CLOSED!!! I do not recommend this place to anyone... sleep in your car and your better off!!!!

Didn't stay there they moved us to a red roof inn which was worse very bad experience

Never stay again!

The hotel smelled like cigarettes. The pool was closed for maintenance and the restaurant inside where we ate breakfast had bugs floating in the water and juice. Never again will my family and I stay here.

Hotel is dusty and under construction. It states the room has a fridge and microwave but it doesn't. The good thing is the hotel forced us to go out and explore more because it wasn't comfy.

NO POOL

Pros: Variety of restaurants very close by.
Cons: Remove pool from the hotel description.
This hotel was out of our way, but I chose it based on price and the fact that it had a pool. For the price I wasn't expecting luxury, but I never thought that I ought to call to verify the existence of the pool. Sadly, it was not available, and looking at other reviews, I see that it had not been available for at least a month. It really seems like this should be reflected on their website. So, that was extremely disappointing. After that, the fact that there are no elevators, the very distinct aroma of smoke (or something equally unpleasant) throughout the hallways, and the desk lamp that blinked every ten seconds all contributed to the somewhat seedy, run-down air of the place. This was furthered by the fact that our room faced a wing of the hotel that looks abandoned. The room was okay, and the location was certainly nice. There were many restaurants within walking distance. But the lack of a pool really made this a disappointing visit.
