The bedroom was clean and so were the sheets. The lobby and reception area and whatever Storage facilities one can look into put me off (tissues on floor right in entrance, cleaning stuff standing around both days). had to find coffeemaker in closet. No outlet near a surface to put coffeemaker on. Anyway, there was only one cup. In the bathroom. All in all very minimal. And not at all cheap for all of this. Beds were good.

This has to be the worst experience I’ve ever had. Completely unsafe, unprofessional, and unclean hotels. The hotel manager was rude and our reservation was canceled for no reason.

This property scared me. First, it’s not in the nicest area. Second, the place smells like people have been smoking there awhile. Not to mention the unkept element, that it felt like a place you’d rent by the hour, the constant barking dogs in some room that reverberated everywhere, and the constant loud noise of people until 2am on a Thu, we made sure our doors were locked with the chain on. Avoid.

If you enjoy staying at a hotel that has people living there and not actual hotel guests, then by all means, have at it. This property must house people placed there by the state. Saw a women passed out with her head in the trash can plus the constant smell of weed and urine! It was the most disgusting places I’ve ever stayed. Stay away and go somewhere else! I should have known about this place when I pulled up and a Sheriff’s car was in the front! You’re better off sleeping in your car!

Pleasant helpful staff. Clean, safe, good location. Plenty of conveniences. Their snowplow guy stays on top of the snow. Only negative is the tv requires two remotes to operate.

This hotel is very basic, with minimal but all necessary amenities. However, the property is very well maintained. Internet was easy to set up, worked very well. The hotel is also very conveniently located. Price is not high, so this hotel offers excellent value for money.

Room was not ready as requested. Hotel did not have note of earlier request for a rollaway. First room provided was filthy; lamps broken, television remotes broken. Hallways reeked of weed even though there were no smoking signs everywhere.

It was convenient to walk to Wegman's and a short drive to visit family. Family with children across the hall made it difficult to sleep past 5 AM. Breakfast choices were limited.

The room had a foul smell that was hard to air out. No batteries in the remote control. The bath tub was dirty. I needed a receipt with date of check in printed on it and they were unable to help me with such a basic task

We stayed here one night because all the other hotels we usually stay at in the area were full. We knew not to expect much from a Super 8, however we do expect a clean room and heat. The room was so dirty. There were someone else's socks and cans under the beds and lots of dust. To make things worse, the heat did not work in our room. It was a chilly night. We couldn't wait to leave. Never again. We would've been better off sleeping in our car.

When I walked in another guest had called the front desk to complain about someone screaming outside their room. That’s how it started. Front desk clerk Complaining about it under his breath. Halls smelled like take out. Halls dirty. Mold in bathroom. Sink wouldn’t drain. Tv wouldn’t work. I just went to bed.

As soon as I walked in the lobby, we could smell marijuana being smoked. The floor in the room was dirty and had not been swept well. The bathroom was so dark I could barely see in there. Please put in brighter bulbs. The whole room was dark, even with the lamps on. There was no light when you walked into the room. you had to walk in the dark all the way to the window to a lamp.

The non smoking hotel stunk of cigarette smoke as well as our room. I had to go to Wegmans to buy an air freshener. I asked the check in attendant to please not charge the card I booked on and gave him a new card and he charged my old card.

The young man at the desk was very nice. Friendly and professional. Our room had a broken cable box which he tried to remedy-but couldn't. Therefore no tv. Coffee machine was broken in breakfast room, toilet leaked, bathtub was clogged, and stopper in bathroom sink was broken. For what we paid, it was a terrible experience. Would lime a partial refund.

Not a good experience
I should not have ignored the reviews I saw here warning people not to stay at this hotel. This should not be listed as a tourist hotel as there appear to be more local people living in the hotel than staying there as guests. The hotel smelled of cigarette smoke and pot. The hallways were loud and I was awakened by a staff member screaming at the top of her lungs on a phone call outside of my room. At night the police showed up at the door of someone on our floor. The bed was very uncomfortable. Ithaca was great but this hotel really put a damper on the experience. I would pay more next time to stay in a decent hotel.

The staff was really terrible, especially at night. There were always people (some employees) smoking outside, and the hallways smelled like smoke as a result. I would not stay here again.

Stay was great, room was good. Main problem was a dog barking all night long from the room next to us. Was not easy to ignore to sleep. Other rooms felt the same way. Should be a better area to have noisy dogs that stay. Breakfast could offer more as well, not much choice.
