Excellent Spa in a beautiful location!

Perfect getaway if you're looking for a relaxing spa with outdoor adventures. Very comfortable atmosphere, with quite a few single travelers who are friendly and inclusive. Location is amazing!

Spectacular Location and Unique Facility

Posted Dec 20, 2017
Pros: STAFF Facility layout and amenities Location Smoothies
Cons: Bed, bedding, pillows Heat in bathroom to take advantage of the 6' Jacuzzi tub Uncover the pool in winter - its pretty even when too cold to jump in
Location: Snow Canyon State Park Zion National Park Tucahn Ampitheatre St George - great Christmas lights Many neat places to eat Las Vegas
I went on a solo retreat to conclude a very difficult year - lost both my mothers, my son hit logging truck head on, lost my dog, my father married a woman I never met, and my entire home was flooded in hurricane. The staff was amazing and the resort concept is perfect for my renewal getaway. Top-notch fitness facility, wide variety of activities, serene spa, and picturesque quiet surroundings make Red Mountain Resort an easy recommendation. My only complaints are with the room itself. The mattress was awful as was the sandpaper sheets and sack of flour pillows. The bathroom did not have a vent, so it was very cold in December. Not all bad though - fireplace was cozy and soothing. Overall I enjoyed my stay, outside of not being able to sleep for a week. Hiking is great for all levels at nearby Snow Canyon State Park and short drive to Zion National Park. Tucahn Center for Arts is beautiful place to watch live theatre at the base of Red Mountain. Lighting can be seen for miles. St George area offers many quaint restaurants, like The Granary Cafe. In December, the town is full of Christmas lights from neighborhoods, businesses, streets, and the Children's Museum. Easily get to Las Vegas for night on town at anytime of the day. I suggest you book a visit and see Matthew at front desk. He will get you connected to all Red Mountain Resort and St George have to offer! (but take your own sheets, pillow, and space heater ;) )

Commune with nature and kick back and relax.

Posted Nov 28, 2017
Relaxing and quiet surroundings. Wonderful staff and comfortable room. Just one criticism: confusing at first on building locations which are spaced all around the property. By the end of the first day, we got acclimated to our surroundings.

Hello Laura, that you for your kind review. I appreciate the feedback about navigating our 55 acres, with 26 buildings that are all the same color as the red rock. We'll keep working at improving our directional signage.

A place to chill out and relax

Posted Nov 18, 2017
Pros: The location is lovely - Red Mountain at your doorstep.
Cons: Friendly customer service staff at registration.
Location: There are tonnes of activities to do there. See there website.
The gentleman that assisted us at registration was not friendly at all. Made our first impression not good - I wanted to leave. But after a massage at the Spa and then talking with other staff the good vibes came back. The Spa was great - the best massage I have had in ages. The restaurant was excellent. We just stayed here for a night at the end of a long road trip but most people staying there were Americans having a weekend away.

Nice hotel close to Snow Canyon

Posted Sep 18, 2017
Rooms are nice, large and clean. Restaurant is good but hours are limited. Spa services are good, hiking out the door. Zion is an hour away.

Beautiful surroundings

Posted Sep 11, 2017 on Hotels
Great location, beautiful surroundings. A bit of an older hotel. Smelled that way. No closet. What we thought was a closet was locked from the inside. No blow dryer. Bed was comfortable with a nice waterfall outside.
