Location is nice, beautiful views on the red mountains. We were in a villa, and those are really nice. Lots of space, nice terras, etc... The restaurant serves decent food, but the meals were small. I'm from Europe, so we are used to smaller portions, but even for us... these are really small courses. There was also a kind of a bar, but I had the feeling it was not really meant for people to sit there and enjoy some drinks. Our first night, we had dinner at the restaurant and than went out to have some more drinks. After 30minutes waiting and no service, we left for our room. I noticed there that there was no mini-bar but only 2 tiny bottles of water. I than called for roomservice, but as it was already after 8pm, there wasn't any. However the reception suggested to bring over some bottles of water, which was very convenient. The hotel is nice, location is good, food is good in quality, but I constantly get the feeling we were on diet. No alcohol in the room, there was in the bar, but than it was not really meant for enjoying drinks in the evening.. I really looked forward to this hotel but the resto and lack of a decent bar made it a bit disappointing.

I was only staying one night, and did not know there was a $100 security deposit. I did not have the money, and the staff were kind enough to drop it to $50. This place is amazing. I just wish they had bathtubs in the rooms. Restaraunt is amazing, pool is amazing, lots of classes to do for free like pilates, yoga etc.. some have to be paid for if they have to drive you some where. I want to come back again, and bring a special someone.

Sweet Escape

Red Mountain Spa is perfect for a week or weekend as needed. With a breathtaking backdrop of Snow Canyon and the peaceful sounds of nature it’s a no-brainer when choosing the perfect place to stay in St. George. Walking trails, beautiful outdoor and indoor pools, a top notch spa and on-site restaurant make this our one-stop paradise playground. We’ve been coming to Red Mountain Spa for years to enjoy renewal and reconnecting as a couple. Great for singles, girls trips and couples.

Perfect getaway if you're looking for a relaxing spa with outdoor adventures. Very comfortable atmosphere, with quite a few single travelers who are friendly and inclusive. Location is amazing!

Spectacular Location and Unique Facility

Posted Dec 20, 2017
Pros: STAFF Facility layout and amenities Location Smoothies
Cons: Bed, bedding, pillows Heat in bathroom to take advantage of the 6' Jacuzzi tub Uncover the pool in winter - its pretty even when too cold to jump in
Location: Snow Canyon State Park Zion National Park Tucahn Ampitheatre St George - great Christmas lights Many neat places to eat Las Vegas
I went on a solo retreat to conclude a very difficult year - lost both my mothers, my son hit logging truck head on, lost my dog, my father married a woman I never met, and my entire home was flooded in hurricane. The staff was amazing and the resort concept is perfect for my renewal getaway. Top-notch fitness facility, wide variety of activities, serene spa, and picturesque quiet surroundings make Red Mountain Resort an easy recommendation. My only complaints are with the room itself. The mattress was awful as was the sandpaper sheets and sack of flour pillows. The bathroom did not have a vent, so it was very cold in December. Not all bad though - fireplace was cozy and soothing. Overall I enjoyed my stay, outside of not being able to sleep for a week. Hiking is great for all levels at nearby Snow Canyon State Park and short drive to Zion National Park. Tucahn Center for Arts is beautiful place to watch live theatre at the base of Red Mountain. Lighting can be seen for miles. St George area offers many quaint restaurants, like The Granary Cafe. In December, the town is full of Christmas lights from neighborhoods, businesses, streets, and the Children's Museum. Easily get to Las Vegas for night on town at anytime of the day. I suggest you book a visit and see Matthew at front desk. He will get you connected to all Red Mountain Resort and St George have to offer! (but take your own sheets, pillow, and space heater ;) )

Nice relaxing stay

Posted Dec 17, 2017 on Hotels
Overall a great stay. About the room, the spa, and the restaurant. First of all, the room. We stayed in one of the villas with the soaking tub in the fireplace. Room was clean and quiet. Bed was comfortable. The room was a little bit smaller than I expected and a bit older feeling for the price, seemed narrow and a little bit cramped. The overall space was fine. There are wall lamps by each side of the bed that have lights on them that are overly bright giving too much ambient light while trying to sleep. Had to cover those to darken in the room. Got massages in the spa, great staff and very relaxing. Afterword had their lunch buffet. Food was good. If you don't like a lot of vegetables, vegan, that sort of thing you should probably go elsewhere. But they did have a couple of kinds of meat. Very health-conscious with calories provided for everything. Flavors for the most part were good.
