We were very pleased with our recent stay at the Aqua Hotel Brussels. It is perfectly situated for walking everyone, or jumping on transit, the hop-on-hop-off bus, etc., and close to a number of delicious little restaurants off the beaten path. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were small but all the space you need to be comfortable, with a little fridge and TV, and even A/C, which is a rarity in Brussels and needed during our week there when it was uncharacteristically hot! We were on the street side, which we loved for being in the action, but there is A LOT of construction currently ongoing on the street, so we really appreciated with the A/C being able to close the windows at night and keep the room quiet and cool. Underground parking only five minutes away and easy to access. Huge, diverse, fantastic breakfasts each morning included! Thank you for a great stay!

Excellent hotel - Terrible WiFi

I stayed here for six nights while on a business trip to Brussels. The hotel is impeccably clean and modern, has good facilities including a vending machine, water dispenser and coffee machine, it also has a fitness room which I did not happen to visit. The staff are very friendly and extremely helpful with directions, maps, suggestions and looking things up for you. The location is excellent! It's located in Port de Namur and is close to some of the popular bars and cafes. It's also only a 2 minute walk to the nearest metro station which makes getting around Brussels extremely easy. The room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable, although the size of the room was very small, barely enough room to put my suitcase somewhere. However, the WiFi is absolutely horrid. It had a decent speed of 1,75MB/sec but kept disconnecting after every few minutes, I eventually got a network cable to try and improve the connection but eventually it stopped working on cable and only worked on Wifi intermittently. At one point the wifi stopped working at all and I was informed there is a problem with the ISP. Did not expect such connectivity in a major European capital. Definitely the worst Wifi I have ever experienced.

Room was comfortable and well-appointed. Parking ended up being on the street instead of a garage because the garage has odd hours. Also, the hallways have a strange rubbery texture that makes suitcases incredibly loud. It is a large hotel, not super personal, but was completely fine for our one night stay.

Funky hotel

This hotel is small and cosy, I loved the blue wooden installation. The overall design is quite modern and the hotel is very clean! The receptionists were friendly. I haven't had breakfast as I woke up late and I was there for only one night. The hotel is near Port Namur metro station, 16 minutes walk to Brussels central station.
