Amazing!! We have stayed at this beautiful resort 1-2 times a year since 2018. Emporio has an excellent staff and always goes above and beyond for their guest! We rented two rooms, a superior king, and wow!! My parents were mesmerized by all of the beautiful views of the ocean and resort from their bedroom. The exquisite details of the housekeeping left were appreciated. We will continue to recommend Hotel Emporio to family and friends

Great location, clean but only one pool which was full every day. The music played on high from 10 am to 10 pm. An announcer yelled into the microphone most of the day and blew a whistle for pool exercises for 15 min straight. No where could you relax without loud music.

The staff was amazing and very prompt room service. Everybody was very welcoming and friendly. Our room was very clean amd maintained daily. All the music stopped at 11.00pm so we had no problems sleeping. We will definitely stay here again.

Although the property provided good value with the optional all inclusive options , selling day passes put added pressure on what was already a smaller pool for a property that size, and made finding poolside chairs more difficult. Would be nice to see a kids pool more actively used. Staff was great and accommodations were clean but the rooms could use a little modernization. Overall a good experience and I like the fact that you had the option to choose an all inclusive package or not.

something in room always needs fixing but never happens..toilet leaked on floor every day. kitchen faucet was put in by 10 year old. Music at pool way too loud and told to everyone in charge. would turn down only when they were there then back up. The activities group have been the worst ever. used to be 2 pool volleyball per day and there was never any announcement of such, they said no mic , full hotel and can't buy a mike??? other previous kids wld just shout out and go find players these current ones sat under tent and played with phones. Had mikes when it came to super loud music that everyone complained about. Manager no help!!!

We love the Emporio. The staff is absolutely incredible. Our house keeper Lucia is the sweetest, Hugo in the lobby bar is phenomenal, Julien meets us at the entry with a smile and a high five every time he sees us, and Rafael at the pool bar is amazing. They all remember you and treat you like family. The ONLY things that we would change is the noise from the lobby in the evenings until the bar closes at 11 and the volume of the music at the pool from the activities group during the day - you can’t even talk to the person next to you in the pool. But we will always go back because of the staff and the location to Centro and restaurants.

Service was superb in all areas. Beach and pools were nice and meal options were good, although the European Plan option was a 50 peso price increase in buffet breakfast, parrillada sunset dinners and noche mexicana dinner. Price increased in most areas of the hotel. In spite of this, I managed to have another wonderful stay at Hotel Emporio. I plan to return at the end of 2024.

Male recepcionist was not very professional and instead of letting us know our rooms were not available he made up an excuse that there was a problem with our reservation when that was not the case. Not a welcoming environment. Some staff were very nice but for others it seemed as they were miserable working at the resort. Snobby general comments like “these people eat too much”(stated by a chef) and “I’m tired of these people” obviously in their language which I understand. Entertainment was very disappointing. Overall our stay was not pleasant for what we paid.

A Lively Beachfront Stay at Emporio Ixtapa Well, we didn't opt for the all-inclusive experience at the Emporio Ixtapa, our two-week stay was incredibly enjoyable. We chose to take advantage of the many excellent and affordable dining options just steps from the hotel – a far more appealing choice than the usual repetitive all-inclusive fare. The hotel's beachfront location is unbeatable, and our junior suite on the eighth floor was delightful. The views of the pool and ocean were stunning, the room was spotlessly clean, and we slept soundly on the comfortable mattresses. In comparison to other stays, this was a welcome luxury! The housekeeping staff was also responsive and helpful throughout our visit. We found the pool, lobby, and beach staff to be exceptionally friendly and accommodating. However, be prepared for a lively atmosphere. The pool area is consistently busy, and reserving shaded loungers requires an early wake-up. Additionally, the poolside music continues late into the night. If you crave tranquility, this might not be the ideal spot (and earplugs would be a helpful addition to your suitcase). Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience at the Emporio Ixtapa. While we'll likely seek quieter accommodations in the future, we recommend this hotel for anyone who enjoys a vibrant, social atmosphere and appreciates convenient access to delicious local restaurants. Rooms were nice and always cleaned daily. Elevators were super quick. Staff was willing to help when adked. They delivered ice to our room on several occasions. Area around the pool needs more cleaning attention. Waiters at the pool were great, always checking customers needs. One area of improvement is the food quality at the buffet restaurant. It was middle of the road. Not many food choices. We didnt feel the breakfast or all inclusive option is worth it.

I liked that they upgraded the rooms somewhat, fridge and a larger tv for my room , don’t know about other rooms. Stayed at emporium many times. It’s pleasant and clean and the staff is very helpful or maybe they recognized me since I’ve been visiting so often… well, the staff was nice to me.

Very kind employees for the most part. Hard working and helpful. Limited options for food unless you choose the all inclusive. Easy access to many restaurants a short walk away. Missed having even a small store on property. I read about the crowded pool conditions before our stay but was surprised about the extent of the problem. If you want a place to sit at the pool you need to get there very early. Maybe that’s the norm in the area but it made things challenging for us. The room was comfortable and cool though and we really enjoyed our stay. The guys at the front and the servers in the pool area were great!

The Emporio is perfect for us. We feel well cared for and appreciate the fact that we do not have to take the all inclusive option. Sampling the local restaurants across the street for breakfast and dinner is one of the things we look forward to in Ixtapa. Kudos to the Emporio staff!

The hotel is centrally located with many shopping and dining options. The property is clean and well kept with nice restaurants, pools and a beautiful beach. The service is superb, including Angeles and Carlos in the restaurants. Bike rides were a special treat with guides Jimena and Angie. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Hotel Emporio.

At the spa, my wife was unhappy because cause they took her necklace. And we have to call the Tourist police. 4 hours later, my wife's necklace was at the manager's offthe only thing they said it was "sorry."

Great location and great staff
The Emporio is where we stay in Ixtapa. Centre location for shops and restaurants. We get jr suite with breakfast included and much cheaper than a condo on the beach. The staff are very helpful in the bars, restaurants and cleaning. There didn’t seem to be the variety of choices at breakfast as other years but what was there was good.
