Great laid back but central locationPosted Sep 10, 2015
A great place to unwind, their focus is relaxing and lounging. However, you're not far from the port of Zihuatanejo, so you can easily taxi in (50 pesos, $3-4) and pick up water taxi services to wherever. The hotel also has a dude, 'Tarzan', that can arrange any number of activities for you (deep sea fishing, sunset sailing, water sports, etc), easy schmeazy. Breakfast is included and good. The V has the best beachfront in the Zihua bay, horizon pool at the bar overlooking the beach and bay...all very nice.

Fantastic service, gorgeous views, great locationPosted Aug 2, 2015
Pros: The rustic adobe motif, book share, staff, small size, protected ocean swimming, food, own pool and bathroom layout.
Cons: Air conditioner could be more effective.
Location: Location is on the north/middle of Playa de Ropa between fellow resorts. There are plenty of beach activities, local shopping and restaurants near by.
The staff went out of their way to make your experience positive and memorable! Our view from our bed was of the lagoon and ocean, couldn't have been more beautiful. The facility is smaller than fellow resorts and keeps a personal feel about it, no overcrowding. Food was excellent, beach was groomed multiple times a day for barefoot safety and they had the only protected ocean swimming area, safe from boats and jet skis. The room layout was large and luxurious with a unique spacious bathroom. We personally saw them save sea turtle eggs for their preservation project onsite. The staff all spoke English, but kindly entertained tutoring us in our poor Spanish speaking with enthusiasm.

Amazing vacation!Posted Jul 10, 2015
Pros: The beach, the view, the room!
Cons: Water pressure in the shower. Ok, not great.
Location: Catamaran sunset cruise was great. So much to do. Jet skis, paddle boarding, parasailing... or just enjoy the beach.
We stayed in Beach Suite 8 and loved every minute. The staff is very friendly and helpful (especially Herriberto!), service is great, food is delicious, and the property is beautiful. Definitely going back. We are breakfast on property and ventured out for dinner a couple of nights. People at Any's is great. Tentaciones has spectacular views. I wish the gift store had a bigger variety of souvenirs. Ended up buying silver earrings on the beach. We hated to leave.

Amazing timePosted Jun 27, 2015
We've been to Mexico many times in the past, but this was by far the best and most luxurious experience we've ever had. Our suite was more like a beautiful refuge than a hotel room. The beaches were always clean and comfortable. The only thing to be aware of was the exorbitant prices for food and drink, but the lovely free breakfast almost made it worthwhile. Plus you can just walk to less expensive restaurants down the beach. All in all it was an unforgettable experience. Can't wait to go back!

Perfect quiet beach hotelPosted Jun 15, 2015
Highly recommend from us! Hotel grounds are beautiful and romantic , food at its restaurants and workers are great and friendly. Very small downside is some shutters are broke in rooms, bed is very hard, and u will find a few ants in rooms but still well worth the stay! Also upgrade to a suite worth the money.

Great experiencePosted Jun 15, 2015
Pros: Setting, location, did not have to leave. There is one pool for adults only. Very nice!
Cons: Not much... minor items that are really inconsequential.
Location: Beach setting with boat rides, sunset cruises, para-sailing, snorkeling, scuba diving, etc.
Wonderful staff and attentive service. Lovely setting along a quite bay. Good food and fully stocked bar. The resort has everything one needs - tennis courts, gym, three pools, three bars, restaurants and a gift shop. Tequila tasting at the Bar Coral with Marco is an experience. He knows how to make this an event not to miss. We were spoiled by him!
