“The room was decorated beautifully. It was one of the nicest hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed at. Very comfortable bed and pillows. It had great full length mirrors if you wanted to do an outfit check before going out. There was a rooftop pool with a bar with music, it had a nice vibe. Wish I stayed more than one night. This hotel was close to the airport which is the reason why I chose it as I had a morning flight and I was staying on the other island of Gozo prior to this. I would definitely stay……

“2 out of 4 nights of my stay there were children in the indoor pool even though it was supposed to be 14+ only after 6pm. This was quite annoying. The jacuzzi was also not operational for the whole week I was there. Staff were very friendly. Room was very spacious and an excellent location. Just slightly let down by things within their control.”

“Hotel is new compare to others in gozo. Room is comfy. The cleaning can be improved. The breakfast is good. But lack of salad vegetable. And the cups are not very clean. There r flies in the outdoor dining area. But I think it’s the best one at Marsalforn area”

“The location is close to the main historical buildings and tourist centres. The breakfast buffet provides diversified kinds of good foods and is worthwhile to pay extra cost for it. Most of the staff are welcoming and helpful. But the staff of cashier are a bit too cool to greet their guests. The dust on the cups in the minibar broke the image of its “blink blink cleanliness “. It’s good to live there for one day and try the breakfast buffet. But it is not suggested to live there for more……

“For a five star hotel it was disappointing. First the positives… the pool, and pool area was wonderful and spacious. The buffet breakfast was nice with plenty of choices. That’s where it ends. The check-in was terrible. The clerk didn’t even smile or offer us a welcome drink as other guests were given. Despite it being a VIP Expedia hotel we were not offered an upgrade. We asked for an early check in and we were denied. We asked for a late check out and again, they said no. And we……

“For some reason every shower we have been in Gozo has leaked all over the bathroom floor. The toilet paper here is cheap and very scratchy. The reception is not 24 hours. Oh parking is a total nightmare. We were there five days and only once did we manage to park close to the hotel and that was luckily on the last day. The rest of the time it was a five to ten minute walk. To the nearest car park”

“We stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott for seven nights and had an excellent experience. The room was cleaned to a very high standard every day without us ever needing to ask. Even on days when we stayed in the room later than usual, housekeeping made sure everything was spotless by the time we returned in the evening. The food was good. Although there were no halal meat options, we were still able to enjoy a variety of egg and vegetarian dishes. The amenities were also very good. The rooftop……

I will say the food at the rooftop pool exceeded my expectations and the food overall in the restaurants were also very tasty. My whole experience in this hotel was surreal, if I come back to Malta, I will definitely be staying here.”
