Spacious and quiet room
One of the best things about this hotel is the generous room size. For a small extra fee, we were upgraded to a room at the front of the building with a balcony that overlooked a park-like area across the road, instead of another building. We were just a few blocks from the ocean and decent restaurants. Personally, I liked the older-style furnishings (and very comfy bed!) but the bathroom could do with a refresh. However, everything worked and that's ultimately what you want in a bathroom! Excellent soundproofing. We were just above the lobby but didn't hear anything. Service was good and most reception staff seemed to have an understanding of English, especially if you spoke slowly and clearly. Meal tip: breakfast is NOT included and is 10 euros. Save your $$ and have a perfectly fine breakfast for 10 Turkish lira just a couple of blocks away. Photo is the view of the room.

I decided to come back and there was a great improvement in room quality...especially with the updated the bathrooms. This is one of the oldest hotels with very nice staff and rooms with wonderful, spacious balconies!

We stayed 2 nights and we like it. It is a small hotel but cozy, staff helpful and nice. The hotel is 5 - 10 minutes walk to the beach boulevard, clock tower, republic square and marina where you have varieties of restaurants and shops. I recommend it.

A good hotel located in a posh neighbourhood.
Though free of charge, the hotel has a fixed schedule for its airport shuttle bus. Our flight arrival time happened to be just after one and three hours before the next schedule. So we had to make our own arrangement to get to the hotel - an inconvenience that we could have been spared, even if he hotel had to charge us for it. Other than this the hotel itself and its facilities were very good. The only discomfort we faced was due to non availability of air conditioning in very early May. The rooms though spacious and comfortable, got a bit stuffy.

Great Stay in a convenient location
Right in the middle of where you want to be. Kordon just blocks away. Basemane Train Station just blocks away. Plenty of cafes and boutiques near by. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. I arrived several hours early do to flight schedules and they gave me the first room available 3 hours early. After checkout at 12, they held our luggage while we continued to sight-see until 5:30 and then we took their shuttle to the airport. Breakfast buffet was good. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. I would recommend getting a balcony room as it has a better view. The other rooms view is of the parking garage for the Hilton. Overall we enjoyed our 4 days there. Will be returning next month on our way to our next adventure.

Pleasant stay. All at 4* standard. Airport Free pick up/drop off by shuttle bus is a welcome plus. Near the water front with all the restaurants, etc. Did not try the sauna or Gym, maybe next time. Worth to stay here if the price is right !

I did like my stay in Izmir, but I do have to say that major rénovation must be undertaken. When you got out of the elevator, you could smell the odor of the carpet. Regarding the breakfest, it was very good.

Good choice for İzmir
Cleanliness: The cleanliness was good. Ease of visit: We stayed two nights and it was very convenient from the metro to and for the airport and Selçuk (Ephesus). Food: Breakfast was various options for the food and drink. The food was delicious for us! Staff: The staff was nice and helpful.
