A nice hotel with a good location in Cesme/Izmir.

Pros: Location and brekfast.
Cons: The hotel's facilities should be more rich I think.

This facility should never be listed as a five star facility. Their staffing is inadequate at all departments and seems to be staffed with inexperienced personnel. The food quality at breakfast was average. They had " quantity " of food but the quality was lacking.

The hotel feels like a 4 star hotel. Overall the quality is mediocre. We upgraded from a superior room to one higher room because we had booked for 3 adults and the one we had booked was small. The room we upgraded to looked to the back if the hotel and had a queen room and a bunker bed, so that one is actually ideal fur a family of 4. The breakfast Buffett was quite basic for Turkey standards. It has a small beach but very large pool and area. Finally, the carpets need a stain removal. On the plus side, spacious and nice lobby, friendly and helpful staff. Still well priced for quality offered, just not quite five star.

5 star benchmark for Cesme

This weekend the hotel was fully booked and the service level does suffer. Clueless waiters, chaotic breakfast buffet even if generous. The Spa influences the food and beverage choices so interesting waters and vegetable juices. Certainly not at the level of the Ortakoy Radisson Blu in Istanbul targeting only the domestic market so much fewer options were a dissappointment. Pricey or European level average. For when you don't mind spending I suppose. My Spa treatment, a Swedish massage was probably the best I ever had.

Above the average; stay if you find a good rate...

Cesme is not a district you may want to stay all day and night in the same facility. You'd rather explore beaches during the day and Alacati region at night. So no need to pay a high rate for a hotel in Cesme. If you catch a low rate then think about it, otherwise look for alternatives. Pros are; Staff is helpful, Rooms are clean, breakfast buffet is rich, vallet parking is free, beach and pool facilities are nice. Cons: Limited choice of snacks, service closing at 12 midnight, high room rates, spa is not satisfactory.

Nice hotel but customer service

Pros: Location and quietness.
Cons: Improve customer service. (More training?)
Location: There is an aqua park next door but don't forget to bring your towel. Hotel doesn't allow you to beach towels to the aqua park
When we checked in we learned that dinner was not included in our hotel price. We were told that we can "upgrade" and include the dinner in the price. We decided to do so and asked them to bill our room. However when we went to the dining hall, we were told that the upgrade did not show up on our account and we should pay for the dinner. We asked them to bill our room again. While we were dining, we were presented with the bill at the dining table. The bill was almost twice the amount of “upgrade” option we were offered before. We had to go to the reception to resolve the issue. After 20 minutes, the issue was resolved but by then, we had lost our appetite. On top of this, except to present the bill, no body showed up at our table neither to clean our table nor to take drink orders. We had to put the dirty dishes on another table. I would have expected a more professional customer service from them. On top of this, we had two rooms and they were supposed to be non-smoking rooms. One of the rooms had a strong cigarette smoke smell. Since they didn't have another room on the same floor, we couldn't change the rooms either. I don't know if we were unlucky or not but based on my experience, I would not recommend this hotel to a friend.
