Great location for a short stay. Everything we needed although the toilet bowl was not clean and bedding could be of a better quality for comfort. Overall, great value.

I enjoyed staying at this hotel. It is very convenient to the metro and ancient Smyrna. Both are a short walk away.

The hotel itself along with room and bathroom were very clean. The room and bathroom were both very small. Hotel was not in a touristy area - area was more local. Lots of little fruit and veggie stalls and little restaurants.

Better tha 3 star hotel.
Lovely hotel 3 star but as good as any 4 star. Staff are fantastic and very pleasant rooms cleaned daily and nice breakfast included in the very reasonable price. Very nice manager and a lovely feeling setting all around.

Overall a very good experience..the hotel is dated but very clean.The staff were exceptionally helpful and accommodating..Always greeting with a smile and kindly willing to fulfill a request.I thank them for the kindness..it gave a positive and cheerful feel to a mundane business trip.

A perfect place to stay when visiting İzmir
Stayed 2 nights in a 2-room family suite. Very comfortable, clean, fairly good selection in the breakfast buffet. A laundry service, which was very helpful after a week of traveling. The wifi wasn't working well, however. The hotel is conveniently located (the trainstationis jut 5 minutes away). Overall a very good option for a short visit.

Excellent hotel very friendly staff rooms cleaned daily brilliant value for money including breakfast .we would always use this hotel anytime when in Izmir city one of the best.

We booked the hotel for three days. The rooms were clean with all amenities. We had a plesant stay. The staff was courteous. Among the staff, special thanks to Volcan for extra helpful.

The airconditioner in one of the rooms was not working. Luckily it was winter time and opening the windows helped however this is a noisy location so was not a great solution

Very clean, staff friendly and helpful even when we came in in the middle of the night. room well decorated and pleasant tp be in. reading lights near/over beds provided. suggestion. should have had a matteress cover under the botom sheets. Otherwise beds very comfortable. would recommend this hotel to friends and would stay there again if the occasion arose.

The price comparing to other hotels in the city is okay. The hotel is clean from inside. But they will only clean it first day. Other days you have to keep calling. The breakfast is acceptable. The most important is the price was matching the service.

Lovely place to stay
It was our first ever visit to Izmir and had picked up this hotel based on reviews of others. We were not disappointed. We were a family of 5 snd the room we got was a suite of 2 rooms with 3 twin beds in one room and 2 twin beds in the other. The hospitality we received from the staff was simply marvelous. The free breakfast was quite appetising. There was a spacious free parking lot that helped to keep our rentsl car we had arrived in. The hotel's location was also very close to the city centre. All in all we loved our stay at this place.

he hotel is right next to the main train station. In a few seconds you are to the city center and in 10 min walk to city's flea markets. There is large parking lot fully accessible at the back of the hotel which is guarded all day and night. Rooms are excellent equipped and very clean. We even got upgraded room without extra charge. Visited the hotel with my family and even though the whole area around has immigrants and refugees we didn't feel any insecurity at all. Breakfast was just typical but the restaurant is a very nice place. Finally, the staff is always present, day and night, and is always willing to help in any mean. Recommended for families who want to stay in city's center.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. One of our rooms smelled strongly of smoke so make sure to request non-smoking or your clothes will smell. There was a cockerel that crowed for over an hour from 6am so you may not want a room facing this neighbour if you don't like waking early!

Hotel has run down a bit from Three years ago the safe was locked you couldn’t open it . Reported the problem but no one dealt with it . You had a job to open the door it was a good job I was with my husband he just about opened it him self the water kettle wouldn’t work when you put it on it just spurted hot water out . We was only there for 1 night so didn’t want to spend my time down at the reception

Very pleasant and clean throughout, with a very good buffet breakfast. Staff helpful. Wi-Fi worked in the room, in the lobby, and in the garden. Friendly turtles greet you in the small pool near the entrance!

Great hotel for an overnight stay.
A comfortable hotel to stay the night on our journey from Eceabat to Pamukkale. The staff were welcoming and friendly, check-in was quick and efficient and the room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The buffet breakfast was great. The hotel is located very close to the train station.

Good value for money
A very nice hotel, with clean well-appointed rooms. Neighbourhood is a little sketchy, being around the corner from the train station. But short walk to Boardwalk and around corner from the old market area. Good value for money, despite the location.

Okay kinda hotel
The hotel is nice but i think might be a bit too pricey for the area. It is a really sketchy area and the only advantage is that the metro station is in 3 mins walk. The staff has a poor english level and was frustrating at times to talk to them. Breakfast was meeh.

Oasis in Izmir amid the hussle of downtown
Fantastic little hotel just off the main busy streets of downtown Izmir. Staff are excellent. We had a rental car and navigating the streets of Izmir was difficult..found our way to the other Baylan hotel..staff came to escort as one-way streets and a google map error made getting there a challenge....clean and friendly staff plus secure parking on site a real plus. Highest recommendation if you want to be in the heart of Izmir.
