"Compared to many other places we've stayed in Jackman, ME, this is one of our best stays! The cabin was spacious, clean, kept up and overall held up to its expectations. What they marketed was exactly what they offered. The check in process was uncertain as we were supposed to show up to an already open cabin without having to contact anyone prior. There is a check in process they want you to do online instead, once you arrive. When I tried doing this, I kept getting error messages saying my information couldn't be found. Luckily, Chris offered me his point of contact(s) over Expedia messages and once I called him, he said he would handle the rest for me and to not worry about it. Chris was friendly & offered us to visit their welcome center the next morning. For amenities: It is summertime so we didn't need the wood stove, but it was ready to go (firewood available) should we want it. There was a grill available outside if we wanted to use it. The AC was on and running before we got there. Fortunately, it was not hot the last couple days, so we didn't even need it and had shut it off on the first night. The shower head hangs low if you happen to be tall like me, but not impossible to use as the head comes detached. Everything was functional (AC, fridge, plumbing, etc.) and did not need attention in our time of stay. Plenty of towels available! This was a plus. Plenty of hooks to hang towels/bags/coats/umbrellas on. Would recommend to a friend!"
