Comfort and NostalgicPosted Jun 4, 2017
Location: Great access to Jackson the Tetons and Yellowstone.
Great amenities. Very helpful and pleasant staff. The food was wonderful. The music in the dining room transport you to the Alps. The rooms were modern and had nostalgic accessories. Couldn't have expected any less. Would love to stay again.

True alpine lodge experiencePosted May 16, 2017
Pros: It's Bavarian charm
Cons: Updating some of the lobby furniture that looked a little worn/torn
This lovely Bavarian Lodge is seated at the base of the mountain and beside the ski lift in Teton Village . A short 15 minute drive from the darling town of Jackson Hole where there are shops and food and action, this Lodge is quiet and peaceful and in a glorious setting. We walked in to sign in ,and a plate of just baked , delicious cookies greeted us. Room was clean and Bavarian charming...not your cookie cutter motel norm ! Staff were very helpful and friendly. The free breakfast was delicious with classy cheeses, meats , fresh baked pastries, as well as your normal bacon/scrambled eggs fare. After this beautiful stay, the staff directed us, with map in hand, down the road to the entrance to the Grand Teton National Park...one of the MOST stunning drives of our lives...jaw dropping, photo shooting, wild animal sighting, natural beauty!

A landmark that is sadly deteriorating.Posted Feb 9, 2017
Great location, and institution at Jackson Hole, but so sad to see it just being let go. Shabby carpet, leaking roof, poor food. Staff act depressed as if they know. Unhelpful, if you can find them.

No matter what the season, the Alpenhof captures the essence of the village. The staff are engaged, friendly and accommodate their guests with smiles. They are always committed to making our stay feel as though we we at home in the mountains.

Very good but pricyPosted Oct 6, 2016
Pros: Comfy beds and breakfast buffet.
Cons: Faster elevator.
Location: In the village. Most everything easily reachable by walking or free shuttle.
Rooms on the small side but clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast buffet which might justify the price. Friendly and competent staff.
