Obviously, the location is supreme. However, for the amount of money they charge for the rooms, one would expect better accommodations and service.
There was no one at the entrance to greet us and we had to remove our bags from the car and take them to the lobby ourselves. Upon check-in, we were told that we had to wait for our room until well after 4:00. Not ideal.
Our room was small and didn't have a view (800.00 per night). Additionally, when we went to open our window, the window mechanism broke and we had to call maintenance to fix it. Due to a lack of labor (or at least that is what is being told as the excuse) the rooms are only serviced every 3rd day, which meant that we were running out of coffee, lotion, etc. and needed to make requests. How convenient for hotels to provide less service and charge premium rates. They must be making a killing.
Overall, the location is awesome and the staff was nice. The lobby is well cared for and the restaurant is decent, but not 5 star. One of my biggest grips about Teton Village is that the food options don't meet the price points of the accommodations. Hopefully, that is changing.
Love the Village and love the location.
