Not what we expected

The room was decent but way over priced. The picture is deceiving, the property does not look like a log lodge. Also the swimming pool was out of order so my daughter's were very upset. After what we paid for the room, it would have been nice to been offered something (partial refund, coupon, any kind of apology).

Rooms were ok. The management was terrible. Charges were incorrect and the manager was very difficult to work with.

Blake, I am sorry that your stay did not meet expectations. My front desk manager worked diligently to correct the issues with your reservation. In the future I would recommend booking directly with the property you will be staying at to cut down on the back and forth with the OTA that was required to settle your account. Nice hotel, good location

Our hotel room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The staff at the reception was friendly, and helpful. The location in Jackson is near restaurants, a gas station, and other businesses within walking distance.

Good location, broken pool

The pool was completely non-functional when we arrived. With two active kids on our summer vacation, and temperatures well into the upper 80's, we were very disappointed to find this out only after we got there. I chose this hotel to stay at in the middle of summer based on the fact that they said they had a pool. The staff tried to emphasize that the hot tub was still working, but as I said, it was almost 90 degrees outside. Hot tub, 90 degrees, no thanks. If I'd been notified of this ahead of time, I would have certainly looked elsewhere in town to spend 2 days of vacation time and money. They said the pool was damaged over the winter months. You would think repairing a damaged swimming pool before summer guests arrive would be a priority, but I guess not. Also, some of our sheets were not completely clean. Disappointing. Other than that, the desk staff was very helpful, they get high marks.

Our pool is scheduled to open on Monday, July 17 if all works out. We had to go out of state to find a company that could do the required work and that is what slowed down the repair time. Frank Lane GM

OK hotel for last-moment need in summer

Pros: Location in center Jackson Hole.
Cons: Bath/toilets, air-conditioning
Location: Typical western town; good variety of restaurants
We needed hotel on a short notice for the trip to Yellowstone and Grant Teton National Parks. It was what we could find, and an OK experience overall.

Acceptable, but not great

Cons: Housekeeping service
The hotel is in a fairly good location, but our experience was not the best. Our room (2 queen beds) was ok for two adults, but would have been uncomfortable with any more. The first day our room was not serviced and while the evening desk manager was apologetic and personally come to provide linens and remove the trash, the service the next day was only partially better--beds sloppily made, no replenishment of cups and coffee materials. The room did have a small refrigerator and microwave which were appreciated.

The room was clean and had everything needed i.e. coffemaker and fridge. The bed was comfortable. Our itinerary did not allow much time in the room (or Jackson for that matter). Lots to do in the area.
