Great Location but that's about it

Posted Sep 26, 2016 on Hotels
Although they let us check in early, the room was not clean. The bathroom floor was dirty. During our stay the bathtub clogged and the hair dryer didn't work. Whoever cleaned out the bathtub left a trail of mud to and from the door. A little disgusting. Plus, one of the beds was mushy.

Very expensive (as all hotels in the area)

Posted Sep 26, 2016
Pros: The choice of three restaurants for various budgets.
Cons: The hotel was very expensive did't include breakfast.
Location: The hotel had everything you required, with a petrol station on the site.
The room was very basic but had everything that you required.

nice location, terrible rooms

Posted Sep 25, 2016
Pros: view & location beautiful
Cons: deep cleaning the rooms, checking to make sure each room has toilet paper & working hair dryer
location of main hotel & lobby was great, good restaurants, amazing view. However our 'deluxe cottage room' had no toilet paper upon arrival, and in the morning we realized the hairdryer didn't work & it took almost an hour for them to bring us a working one. The room was dirty, dust bunnies piled in corners, tub brownish. For the overpriced room would definitely NOT stay here again. Stop in to see lobby & view out back, perhaps stay for a meal, stay somewhere else.

Historically interesting and FULL of conventioners

Unfortunately only a minority of rooms have a view of the Tetons. It would be fair of the property to disclose the particulars when booking. There is some type of meter on available hot water volume; make your showers brief! Perhaps Signal Mtn would be a better option. It's also on Jackson Lake and a fraction of the size of JLL.

Great Hotel

Posted Sep 22, 2016
The views from the hotel lodge are just amazing. No better view of the Tetons. Sit out on the back terrace and take in the view, have some food and drinks, and look for wildlife down below. Saw tons of Elk and many people there saw Moose as well. ALL hotel staff also top notch. There are some great hiking trails you can get to from the hotel parking lot as well.

nice hotel with wonderful views of Tetons

Posted Sep 21, 2016
Pros: excellent location with wonderful views
Cons: standard of furnishing in cottages
Location: the location is right on Jackson Lake in the Tetons National Park and there are numerous activities on and around the lake
We (mature couple) stayed in September for 1 night, having stayed here before for 3 days on a previous trip to Yellowstone. The cottages are comfortable with parking right outside but some are very far from the main facilities in the lodge. We ate in the diner style cafe and the food was fine and most of the staff friendly and helpful. It isn't terribly comfortable but you don't need to reserve.

Good location,nothing more.

This place is so expensive due to the location. The lodge itself is cozy but the food in the grill room is not great and the service is TERRIBLE. The rooms are large, beds comfy, but nothing that stands out as exceptional in terms of amenities. Though they advertise wifi, it's spotty towards the outer cabins (which are a good 4 minute walk to the lodge).

Beautiful view from lodge. Dirtiest room ever.

Posted Sep 14, 2016
View from the lodge was absolutely amazing. The room was on of the dirtiest rooms I have ever stayed in. Floor had not been vacuumed dirt all over floor in bathroom. Hairs and muddy steps in shower. Toilet never worked despite repeated calls for repair. Would never recommend anyone staying here.
