Rustic getaway

Posted Jul 25, 2017
This property is quaint and rustic. Not a luxury hotel but one where the ideal amenities are solitude and charm.

Loved It!

Posted Jul 10, 2017
Pros: Nice rooms, great food.
Cons: Handicap accessible rooms.
Location: Stunning scenery! Great for the outdoors type.
There aren't a lot of rooms, but the ones I saw were very nice. Somewhat difficult getting into with disability. They could use some updating of facility to accommodate this. The restaurant was great. Our grandson loved the pool, and hiking around the area. Beautiful setting.

Cons: Food. Restaurants. Service.
We had an enjoyable time. It was not really close to Grand Tetons or Yellowstone, but close enough! It was beautiful and everyone was so nice. We enjoyed the staff and the guests, too. The only area of desire was the food and restaurant service. Not a lot to choose from, manned by the same slow, forgetful staff. They did get one or two (out of a dozen) orders correct. That's a start, right?

Bed too small

Posted Jul 7, 2017

No AC

Posted Jul 7, 2017
This hotel is on the top of a mountain and has the basic things. No AC and it was 85 degrees in our room. It was hot. We had to beg for fan. It is not handicapped accessible either. How is this legal?

Sorry you did not enjoy your stay with us. We have specific handicap accessible rooms but we do not offer them through Expedia since it is difficult to receive the required information needed to book a ADA room.

Make over

Posted Jul 3, 2017
This hotel needs a serious make over. Complex was. Told in 1968 and so is the facilities shape. Suites are extremely small for the price and not clean. Housekeeping is performed by students who apparently were not trained on how to clean a guest room correctly. Several calls to reception were necessary to get the room cleaned proper. For $170.- a night I expect free TV and no need Tonlage to watch a moovie. The food in the restaurants is poor and expensive. Would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Very old and far from anything

Posted Jul 2, 2017
We stayed here on our recent trip to Yellowstone. Very poor location choice as it's a 2 hour trip around the mountains to the Yellowstone entrance. Also there are no elevators so you have to carry your luggage up multiple flights of stairs. Housekeeping was not good. They would only halfway clean the room each day and failed to restock items such as towels and coffee. It's a very old Lodge so the bathroom was moldy.

Thanks for your feedback. We apologize if there was any misconception on our location to Yellowstone. We strive to make this clear to our guests but understand the complications regarding our location. We are sorry you were unsatisfied with our Housekeeping staff. We will share your comments and work on improving this experience.

Nice place to stay

Posted Jul 1, 2017
The staff was very friendly and the room was very clean. Our only complaint is that there was construction happening right outside our room every morning at 7:00. Not what time I wanted to wake up every morning on vacation.
