Snake River Lodge & Spa

The Snake River Lodge & Spa is adjacent to the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and 13.5 miles (21.7 kilometers) from Jackson Hole Airport. A heated walkway leads to the lifts, and a ski valet helps guests with skis and warms their boots. Complimentary parking and valet parking (surcharge) are offered at the Lodge.

The Jackson Hole Spa specializes in innovative hydrotherapy-based treatments. Guests have use of an indoor/outdoor pool and a top-floor fitness center with mountain views. Use of women's and men's locker rooms with spa tubs, eucalyptus steam rooms, saunas, Swiss showers, dual-head rain showers and relaxation areas (with a fireplace for women, TV for men) is included in the daily resort fee.

The Gamefish restaurant showcases regional cuisine such as Wyoming Angus beef and native fish, complemented by panoramic views of the Gros Ventre Mountains. A spa menu is available poolside, in spa relaxation areas and at the Fireside Bar.

Gamefish - Panoramic views of the Gros Ventre Mountains. Regional cuisine includes Wyoming Angus beef, native fish, and grilled and smoked game. Small- and large-plate options. Fine-wine list with more than 100 labels. Breakfast, lunch, dinner. Usually closed during April and November.

The hotel's Jackson Hole Spa has an indoor/outdoor pool open year-round, a sauna, steam room and several spa tubs and offers body scrubs and wraps, massage and reflexology. A complimentary fitness center on the spa's 5th floor provides mountain views and includes treadmills, stair machines, stationary bikes, elliptical trainers, strength-training equipment, and free weights. Also complimentary are women's and men's locker rooms, located on separate floors, with spa tubs, eucalyptus steam rooms, saunas, Swiss showers, dual-head rain showers, and relaxation areas. Yoga classes (surcharge) are held in a separate studio.

The hotel is adjacent to the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and connected to the lifts via a heated walkway. The resort has 12 lifts, 116 runs, 2,500 acres of in-bound ski terrain, and 3,000 backcountry acres. Trails are 10 percent beginner, 40 percent intermediate, and 50 percent advanced; snowboarding is permitted. Skiers can experience a continuous vertical drop from 10,450 feet to 6,311 feet.

Across from the hotel, the Saddlehorn Activity Center offers horseback riding, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and dog sledding. The hotel can arrange Snake River fly-fishing, whitewater rafting, tandem paragliding, balloon rides, and other outdoor adventures. Grand Teton National Park is just one mile away.

Teton Pines Country Club and Resort, 5 miles (8 kilometers) away, has a championship golf course designed by Arnold Palmer. The Jackson Hole Golf and Tennis Club, 10 miles (16 kilometers) from the hotel, has a top-ranked course redesigned by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. Both courses are open to the public.
