Very nice resort however I wish they would wash the carpets or at least try to spot clean them because it is a pet friendly hotel and there were some areas in our room where it smelled like dog pee. The location however was great. Very close to town, shops, nice restaurants and bars.

Was tempted to drop to three stars but kept it at four. Being able to stay in this beautifully designed property nestled up at the base of the Rockies was totally great. The rooms have been updated and I'd stay again. But there is a sense that the corporate owners are somewhere like in Dallas and have never stayed here. The hot tub jets weren't working, the led lights in the room are garrish. It would take very little to use a pleasing soft bulb. I muted the tv and used it for light, turning off all other lights. The soda vending machine was barely stocked and when I got what was available, it was warm; no refrigeration in the vending machine. My room had been winterized, so I walked in and got to take furniture off of the unmade beds and arrange the room. Staff are excellent, pretty much spoke English but may still be in high school. Some time ago, someone blurted out "those big trees on the south side of the building could fall and hurt someone. You could get sued." Thus, around 8 or so ugly large tree stumps poke out of the earth adjacent to the south side of the property. Stump grinders are very easy to use . . . Still a good place. The pros far outweigh the cons.
