This hotel had so much promise, but was just ok. It was expensive and the photos on their website made it look great - in reality, it's pretty tired, not kept up well, and the staff and service are not great. The location is only good if you plan to ski the hill that's right there - the trek to Jackson Hole is very long on a slow bus. The walk to town is over unkept icy sidewalks - we're talking REALLY icy and dangerous. Part of the reason to choose this hotel was the on-site restaurant (really marginal and they add a huge forced gratuity so the staff really doesn't care to provide service). The other was the spa/pool area - it was hard to locate towels, some of the equipment had signs it was broken, and it generally was marginal. I hate to be negative but given the price ($400/night) I expected so much more. Yah, it was ski season but just barely. I would say choose just about anywhere else unless you get a smoking deal, because it doesn't live up to the luxury price.
