I understand due to COVID housekeeping is limiting the cleaning. But it should be said when you check in that housekeeping will not be cleaning the room until after you check out. To let the customer know if they need any supplies to call the front desk and if they need the trash to be taken out to leave it in the hallway for housekeeping to pick up. We were there over 3 days and we did not know any of this until we called wondering why our rooms were untouched. Very important we saw a BED BUG on one of the beds and the front desk made the comment that WE brought the bug in! How rude! We slept on the bed that didn’t have the bed bug and we noticed the next morning there was bed bug crawling on top of the opposing bed. The good thing is that we were accommodated to move into another room immediately since we were checking out the next day. That is a plus I will give this hotel. But besides that the rooms need to be renovated, there needs to be a door for the bathroom. The bathroom is located right next to front door. Since the bathroom does not have a door, there is no privacy. In both rooms that we were in we did not understand why there was holes in the shower floor and wall, like if something was nailed before? Most importantly the rooms need to be deep cleaned and inspected more often.
