We stayed in one of the cabins at Togwotee. This resort is further away from the Tetons than Jackson, but is totally worth it! The views when driving to the Jenny Lake area are breathtaking as you drive along the Snake River towards the Teton Range. Bonus...you don't have to deal with the Jackson Hole insanity.
As other reviewers have mentioned, the cabins could be cleaner, but if you aren't a germaphobe you would be okay, they aren't filthy, mainly just a little dusty. I imagine the Lodge is cleaner because it is on pavement. The bedroom had no door, so keep that in mind for privacy as well. The cabin was roomy with a cute little kitchenette.
The Lodge's bar area is a nice place to dine, play pool or have a drink, and the breakfast area and buffet were very nice. The staff was clearly worn down from a hectic season and yet were so wonderful and accommodating, and took the time to chat with the people who were staying there. Kudos to Kyle, Ariel, and the rest of the crew. Between them and the wonderfully peaceful location, we will definitely go back. A little more tlc on the cabins would make it a perfect stay.
