Overall great experience. It would be great if the outdoor swimming pool is located in the inner lodge area instead of right next to the street.

Hotel gives you that western feel! Can't say enough about the town of Jackson! Wish I had a couple more days to spend there!

Lovely stay.

Well located, suite had excellent accommodations. Very clean. Location was noisy with traffic, but with one major road through town, understandable.

Not what was expected

Posted Sep 10, 2017
Pros: Nothing to be honest.
Cons: Remove table in chairs from room and upgrade mattresses.
Location: Location was easy to find and within walking distance to downtown shopping and restaurants.
The room was small with 2 double beds, a table and 2 chairs placed in front of air conditioner which hindered air flow. The bathroom was a joke! Toilet and shower/bath tub left little room to even turn around. The beds wer the worst that we have ever slept on! Room was on 2nd floor with no elevator. This room was not what we expected and thought maybe it was incorrectly booked.

Thank you for staying with us and sharing your views. You booked a standard QQ Lodge room and stayed in a standard QQ Lodge room. For larger rooms with more space please look to stay in our 1 or 2 bedroom condo units. Regards, Frank Lane GM

Oversold

Posted Aug 26, 2017
Remodeling the office to look like a lodge doesn't make a lodge. Receptionist seemed put out to have to check us in. Room was far below what we thought we were getting. It was, simply put, an old motel. The room was small, the bathroom so small you had to work to close the door. The shower pipes sounded like the room was going to explode. The best part of the hotel was the pool and hot tub.

Overpriced! Marriott Spingwood Suites is three months old, on a quiet street and cost less! Would never stay here again!

I am sorry we didn't meet your expectations - check your pricing- the new property you speak of is consistently priced (for comparable rooms) $100 or more per night over us. We offer some of the best lodging values in Jackson during our high summer season. Regards, Frank Lane GM

Great location in Jackson

Posted Aug 15, 2017
Pros: Location
This facility is located about two blocks from the town square, and easy walk to shopping and restaurants. There.was sufficient parking, so you could walk to what you wanted to do in town without having to fight for parking. Great ,location.

No pool, no stay

Posted Aug 1, 2017
Pros: The unavailable pool.
Cons: Too much to list, but honesty would be first.
Location: Lots
We have stayed here twice before and tolerated the seedy rooms because of the terrific pool. When we checked in, we found out that the pool was being repaired and was unavailable. When we asked why we had not been told about this fact, we were told that it "was on the website." Other guests received 20% to 30% discounts, but we were told that we had to go through Expedia!

Thank you for staying with us - sorry about our pool being out of commission during your stay - however - as you booked via a third party that does not provide us with guest contact information - we could not reach out to you prior to your arrival to inform you about the pool status. We did post the pool information on our website and notified all of our booking partners. Regards, Frank Lane General Manager

"No Pool- Sorry but we have a big hot tub"

Posted Jul 27, 2017
Pros: Room was good size, but dated.
After spending a couple of days in Yellowstone, my kids were looking forward to spending some time in the pool at the hotel. Expedia buyers beware as when I went in to the lobby to check in there is a sign that says "Ask us about upgrades when available!" I asked and there were upgrades available, just not to me because I booked with Expedia. When I was all checked into the hotel I was informed that "The pool is under construction, but we have a big hot tub." I explained that the only reason we had booked at this hotel is because of the pool, I could have booked at the brand new hotel next door without a pool for $100 less/night. They then proceeded to tell me that they had put the notice on their website that the pool was closed. I asked did they tell Expedia and they didn't know. Obviously to them I was not their customer, I was Expedia's so I decided to call Expedia once I was in the room. Expedia was great to deal with and tried to mediate the situation the best they could given that the hotel was not being flexible with them at all. My favorite quote from the hotel was "Tell them they can cancel their room, but we will keep their payment." Hotel finally offered to reimburse our admission to the city rec center that was quite a ways away if we brought them the receipts. Expedia had never been informed of the pool construction and was annoyed with how the hotel was treating them. I appreciate Expedia's efforts and will continue to be a loyal customer as they stepped in.

I am sorry to hear of your experience. Our pool needed repairs and we notified all sales outlets, including Expedia, that the pool was out of commission - it once again open and operating. Due to you booking via a third party (Expedia) we didn't have your contact information to inform you directly of our pool status. Regards, Frank Lane GM
