Horrible Hotel - DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

This is, by far, the worst hotel stay I've had. At check in (5:45pm) there was a lobby full of people waiting on rooms. Some had been there for quite a while. Apparently there was a cleaning staff shortage and it was obvious. The carpets looked as if they hadn't been vacuumed in weeks. The rooms were not clean. Mine had horrible stains on the sofa, broken refrigerator, broken toilet paper holder, moldy slime in the sink, and hair everywhere. At breakfast, the food counter was disgusting and the only coffee dispenser that worked (there were 4) was full of coffee grounds. I can't believe Marriott puts their name on this property. BTW, there is a Homewood Suites next door that is excellent.

We had to move from our first room because the air conditioning was broken. The lock on our second room was broken. Even the manager could not get it open. We were stuck outside our room for a long time, until some sort of master key worked. The whole hotel smelled really bad too.

We ordered a two room suite and absolutely needed it as we were just two adults transporting our kids and multiple cousins. When we get to the hotel they have confirmed our room but not were unsure if it was cleaned. The attendant went to check and said we were good to go. We get our room keys and head to the room only to find out that someone else was already in the room. WTH?? They ended up having to split us up and one of the rooms had and unidentified crusty carpet by the bathroom sink. There were no cups for coffee in the morning and the breakfast was never fully supplied so you waited forever to get food. We went elsewhere to eat. Quite frankly, this is not up to Marriott's standards and when we passed through on the way back we stayed at another hotel.
