Wonderful

Posted Aug 26, 2017
Pros: Cleanliness, closeness to things
Cons: None
Location: Everything is close by. About 1 to 1 1/2 hours to yellowstone park and about 30 minutes to the grand tetons national park
They upgraded up to a 3 bedroom suite which was beautiful. The hotel was within walking distance of the park. The restaurant dinner was delicious. Staff was very helpful. Will absolutely stay there again

Not Really a Hotel

Posted Aug 25, 2017 on Hotels
At a nightly rate of over $550, I expected a very different level of service and comfort than my family and I actually experienced. Arriving to find an empty front desk and no staff to help with suitcases or car, I was eventually acknowledged (not greeted) by a cold, humorless front desk clerk. After passing battered hallways very much in need of at least cosmetic repairs, we squeezed our way into our junior suite, so crowded with its minimal furniture that suitcases could not really be wheeled to their destination and had to be lifted instead. With about 12 inches or less of space between the bed and the walls, and a sofabed that so filled the sitting room that other furniture had to be removed in order to unfold it, this was a marvel of "efficiency" - and a marvel of inconvenience. The square footage devoted to toilet and sink was half of what you would find in most gas stations or restaurants, it was so small. I was surprised nevertheless to go downstairs for the free breakfast to find that the so-called "restaurant" was just three tables in a basement space that occupied less square footage than the staircase going down to that level. When time came to check out, again no one was at the front desk. While some of the furnishings of the room were comfortable, and there was a compact kitchen and a washer-dryer in the closet, these were not really the things I needed. I'm sure this would be a nice 1-bedroom apartment in Tokyo or Manhattan. But in Jackson, Wyoming?

I am sorry you were satisfied with your recent stay. During the week of stay the entire town and neighboring towns were sold out at very high rates due to the eclipse. Our rooms are actually quite spacious compared to average hotel standards and also included a full kitchen and balcony. Our complimentary continental breakfast in the morning in located in the lounge and not the restaurant. The restaurant is a USDA Prime Steakhouse with onsite bar. We are staffed 24-hours at the front desk and am sorry to hear that the desk was vacant, I am sure our staff was assisting other guests as the eclipse week was extremely busy. I hope you will allow us to host you again and show that your experience is not the norm. Thank you for taking the time to write a review.

Perfect Downtown Jackson Lodging

Posted Aug 24, 2017 on Orbitz
Pros: The location and the size of the room.
Cons: Housekeeping could do a better job providing clean towels.
Location: The location is perfect for wandering on foot around Jackson.
The suite was clean and perfectly fit our needs. We did have issues upon arrival with the temperature of the room. It was way too hot and thermostat was a bit difficult to figure out at first. The sofa bed was not comfortable, so would recommend this room more for couples instead of a small family. One of the lights burned out and didn't get replaced while there and one of the windows would not open. That said, we would definitely recommend this hotel!

Lovely stay at the White Buffalo Club. Unit was spotless and beautifully decorated. Location can't b beat. Wish we would have had more than 1 nite to spend in Jackson.

Great location, restaurant was disappointing,

Posted Aug 18, 2017 on Orbitz
Pros: The location was great, easy walking distance to town.
Cons: Restaurant was not as advertised. Pay per view tv would be nice, movies and such!
Location: Restaurants in the downtown area were easy to get to. Park next to hotel was nice and manicured, easy to walk.
Great location, close to town, restaurant was overatted, nice staff, easy parking,

Nice place!

Posted Aug 17, 2017 on Hotels
Came late at night and had a quick check in no problem. There wasn't any more parking underground but you could park in the street and it was plenty available. I loved the room, more like a small apartment with a full kitchen and a wall dividing from the bedroom. Location is excellent and quiet at the same time. You have everything within walking distance and I travelled with my 7 year old and there is a park right across from the hotel. The kind of place that you can stay in for long periods of time. Would definitely be back.

Not worth the coat

Posted Aug 9, 2017 on Orbitz
Pros: Full size kitchen
Cons: Checkin process, security, room temperature control
Location: Great location close to down town
This place was a major (very expensive) disappointment. Actually had to read 3 paragraphs of hotel rules and initial each one during checkin process, not what I want to do when tired and want to rest. Room was uncomfortably cold and we couldn't get the Honeywell thermostat to crank up or shut off nor could the staff. The sofa bed turned out to be a standard L shaped smallish sofa with a foam sheet over it (hotel staff has to set it up which is a bit weird), it's painfully uncomfortable. No dead bolts on the doors just standard electronic card reader. Stains on hallway rugs, hotel staff are college age kids who seem bored out of their brains. Did have full blown kitchen and a washer dryer which is nice, is also very conveniently located close to town. Bottom line very expensive night on a rock hard slightly lopsided sofa with cold air blowing in my face, no I will not be returning.

This is one of the more interesting comments we have ever received. Agreeing to hotel terms and signing a registration card is standard practice at most hotels. I just read through all the verbiage on our registration card and it took me less than 30 seconds. The items you initialed are simply "No Pets", "No Smoking", and "Please return your room keys". You could have simply asked "What am I initialing" and we would explain it to you if you were too bothered to read a few sentences. Having these items on our registration card solves major issues for us and our guests that were occurring before we had these items. Would you have preferred to walk into a room that smelled like cigarettes and wet dog?

Nice hotel within walking distance to Town Square.

Posted Jul 31, 2017
Pros: Location to town square, 2 king beds in room, breakfast included, convenient parking. Location related to Teton and Yellowstone National Parks.
Cons: The some sheets were "pilled" and could use replacing.
Location: Within walking distance to town square, restaurants, shops.
We enjoyed our stay. We were within walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Also we were on the north end of town for easy access to the highway to Teton and Yellowstone parks. Very relaxed feel to hotel with comfortable amenities. We did not use the spa, but it was available. Staff were available, but unobtrusive. We started our search based on hotels close to the town square. Then picked the hotel because of the availability of 2 king size beds in one room. We were very pleased with the overall stay.
