Convenient and roomy place to stay for a few daysPosted Jul 27, 2015
Pros: Convenient location, spacious rooms.
Cons: Smoking area under the steps. Required non-smokers to walk through smoke just to get upstairs.
Was in town for a weekend, liked having a refrigerator and kitchenette, even though they weren't used much on this trip. Facility was conveniently located, will plan to stay here again the next time I'm in town.

Beware: Pictures can be deceiving!Posted Jul 18, 2015
Let me just say, the pictures and positive reviews were so misleading. The first room we were assigned was supposed to be nonsmoking; however, it reeked of smoke and there were cigarette burns all over the carpet and even on the couch. The bathroom was dirty and there was a piece of black fabric unde the sink! Have no idea if it was panties or not. Luckily the manager promptly got us a different room. Smelled better and was cleaner but still not great. Ran into a few cockroaches and we had ants in the bedroom. As far as the extended stay amenities such as dishes for eating meals--we had one fork, two spoons, one saucer, one large size plate and an array of beat up pans. Why bother booking an extended stay?!? The walls were paper thin. We could hear when our neighbor's cell phone rang--which rang A LOT! Not sure who was staying upstairs, but two days in a row it sounds like someone was dropping Dumbbells on the floor for hours. I will say that the hotel was located in a convenient area with shopping and restaurants nearby. The staff was very nice and accommodating. They were the positive part of an otherwise negative experience. Won't ever be back!

Affordable and spacious, near Lejeune and GeigerPosted Jul 6, 2015
Pros: Clean Comfortable Well stocked Convenient location Friendly service Plenty of parking
Cons: Mattress was a bit firm and creaky, but still comfortable Towel racks more securely mounted Breakfast options?
Location: I chose this location because of the proximity to Camp Geiger, but there are also all kinds of shopping and dining opportunities within a 5 min drive!
For what I paid, I was expecting a single room with the microwave 3 feet from the bed or something. When I walked in, I was stunned to see that there was a whole separate sitting area with a couch and a wall-mounted TV along with some counter space, a sink, oven/range combination, and full size fridge with freezer. There were even cabinets! I dropped my bag to have a quick look around, and was thrilled when I realized that I'd rented what was essentially a tiny apartment. There was a short hallway off the main sitting area that led to the bedroom (spacious, with a closet and dresser and even another TV). Of course, I looked around to be sure there wasn't a nasty surprise waiting for me on the floor or in the drawers, but it was spotless! Then I backtracked to the door in the hallway, which led to the bathroom. Again, relatively spacious with plenty of towels and soaps, and wonderfully clean! My only complaints about my stay there were that the bed was a bit on the firm side for my preferences (but I still slept like a log) and that the towel rack came off the wall once when I retrieved my towel, but that was due to the bracket style and NOT due to poor upkeep. It also would have been nice if there'd been some sort of breakfast included, but I had my own kitchen to make breakfast in! Honestly, I'm somewhat disappointed that I'm unlikely to end up stationed in Jacksonville, because I now know a great place I'd suggest for visitors to stay!

Dirty carpet, roaches in the room, urine smellPosted Jul 6, 2015
Uncomfortable bed, and stinky smell. 2 roaches on the counter when we turned the light on. I've never experience something like this in hotel before. Gross and disgusting to the max.

Good DealPosted Jun 24, 2015 on Hotels
This is an extended stay hotel so you don't see the day to day service that you see with a standard hotel but the manager is very pleasant and helpful. The rooms are clean and big and it is a quiet hotel. We have family and business in Jacksonville and this will be our place to stay from now on.

Unresponsive ManagerPosted Jun 23, 2015
programed card keys wrong, could not get into my room 11:00 PM the second night. Office closes @ 7pm, called emergency number twice, no answer and no returned call. Had to stay some place else. Next day his response was did not here his cell phone ring and a guy has to get some sleep sometime. They did refund one nights stay, that is unsafe practice to not answer call!
