Hilton is Associated with this HotelPosted Oct 13, 2015
When you think of the hotel chain Hilton you think luxurious, accommodating, grand but not dirty, mediocre, and tired. The rooms are not spacious and are filthy in need of a complete makeover. There was no refrigerator in the room and there was no hot water in the shower during the evening hours. The restaurant located in the hotel called the Christoph served sub-par cuisine and left much to be desired. The food was greasy, cold, and a salad that was supposed to accompany my entrée was not delivered to my room with the meal. My shrimp and grits was cold with greasy peppers and onions served on it with gummy grits. I am very surprised that the Hilton name would want to be associated with a hotel like this one!!

Great viewPosted Sep 24, 2015
Although we stayed only one night, we had a great experience. Each staff member we dealt with was friendly, helpful and seemed to be genuinely glad to be there. Our room was clean and comfortable and the view was wonderful. We will definitely stay there again!

Attractive hotel near the riverPosted Sep 8, 2015
Pros: It is attractive and has a great view
Cons: The bed springs were squeaky and the ceiling fan was noisy. Not a great night's sleep.
Location: a historic little downtown with nice shops, the Pepsi museum. The beach is barely an hour away.
We stayed at The Inn building (an older two-level building) which was charming and quiet. The location provides views of the river and marina and is within walking distance of the downtown streets of New Bern. On the outdoor deck we enjoyed music by a DJ and ate dinner. It turned out to be a busy place. A delicious Breakfast buffet is offered for a price.

Undoubtedly the best place to stay in town!Posted Aug 24, 2015 on Hotels
Just a couple of days as a get-a-way - love this location, so relaxing on the river. Beautiful view of the marina. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful from the check in to advise of local places of interest and to eat to our cleaning person.

We had a wonderful view on the patio for drinks and dinner. Plenty of shopping and great places to eat within walking distance.

I was disappointed due to the spider webs and spiders on the balcony and the hair in our tub!!!
