Convenient but not worth the hassle

Posted Sep 19, 2016
The hotel charges 5 dollars to park and another 100 deposit if booked through a 323rd party. The hotel was noisy and the room was smelly and the bed was uncomfortable.

So so Hotel. Hood for 1 night.

Clean room and nice staff but derty halls with a very strong weed smell. The breakfast invluded part was an utopia since it doesn't exist, unless coffee and crackers are considered to be breakfast. It's well located and for the price it is OK, but nothing to be too exited about.

Pick another hotel

Posted Aug 22, 2016
Pros: Location
Cons: Customer service, ice machine, and dishes in the kitchen.
Location: The Landing, St John River, Chart House Restaurant and Everbank Stadium
I have stayed at many Extended Stays in the past and I must admit this was the first time I have been disappointed. I always choose to stay at this particular hotel due to the small kitchen with everything I need to cook in my room. This particular Extended stay has a full kitchen, but none of the usual glasses, dishes or pots normally in the room. The kitchen was totally useless without anything to cook with. They didn't even have a glass in the room. To make things worst, they didn't have ice anywhere in the building. When I asked the front desk person about the ice, she told me I could use the ice trays in the room to make ice. That's great if I needed ice in 8 hours, but that did nothing for right at the time. It was a big inconvenience and it seemed as though she didn't care. I think if's ridiculous for a hotel with 3 floors to at least have 1 ice machine in the building..

Rod, we value you as our guest, and we appreciate your loyalty to our brand. We receive many positive comments regarding our fully equipped kitchens with full size refrigerator/freezer which includes ice trays for your convenience. Therefore we do not have ice machines on our property, and we apologize for your disappointment. This is standard for our brand of hotels. We are sorry for the less than caring attitude of our staff member. This is unacceptable and we will reiterate our service expectations with all of our team members during our weekly meetings. Thank you again for being our guest and for your valued feedback. Sincerely, General Manager

Perfect Location for my visit

Posted Aug 10, 2016
Pros: Having a mini kitchen was a plus, since the breakfast offered is limited to coffee/hot coco and oatmeal.
Cons: The breakfast that's offered is minimal. Coffee, hot coco, oatmeal, processed muffins. Offer cereal, juice, milk, toast and jams would be great.
Location: Lots of places to eat in San Marco, Five Points across the way and as well as in the downtown area.
I chose to stay here due to it's centralize location. Located in town in San Marco across from Downtown JAX. Walks away from the Riverwalk, minutes drive to Riverside where I spent lots of time with friends I was visiting. 30 minutes to the beach where I visited other friends.

Great hotel close to the fun on the river front

This hotel has an excellent and friendly staff. I traveled with two other women and we felt very safe at this hotel. The staff went way beyond their duties to make us feel welcomed and took care of all our need immediately if not sooner. I shall be back next time I go to Jacksonville .

They had just painted room and the fumes were bad.

Uncomfortable beds, depressing ambiance, a "grab and go breakfast" means you grab a generic muffin. This place should be very cheap to warrant the quality.
