The room had Roaches crawling. Had a bad smell. Had to pay extra for parking. Overall the staff was nice.

No pool, No breakfast, dirty floor, messy elevator, odd smells, broken cabinets, and no shuttle service. This hotel was a HUGE disappointment.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry you were disappointed in our services and amenities. Your comments lead me to verify our website information to ensure all the information is accurate and current so our future guests aren't expecting a pool and shuttle service as well. I will let our housekeeping team know where they need to be more diligent with their cleaning so we are providing a home away from home environment every time. Thank you again, and we do hope to have you back as our guest soon. General Manager

mixed reaction

Posted Dec 14, 2016
Seems the hotel is a training facility, so staff are friendly but not everything runs smoothly. I arrived at 1AM and had to check on a business message and it took 3 phone calls to the front desk before I was given the right wifi password. Room was spacious, clean and a good deal for the price point. Try 'bb's restaurant' just down the street - great cocktails and contemporary Southern food. The Southern Grilled is a favorite with locals for breakfast and lunch - big servings and is several blocks away. Southern The Treaty Oak, an awesome tree, is a couple of blocks away.

Bug infested Hotel

Posted Dec 5, 2016
Pros: Convenience to where we needed to be.
Cons: Obviously cleanliness.
Booked 2 nights never stayed in an Extended Stay Hotel before, had no idea about them. Woke up to bugs in the room on the bedspread, countertop and bathroom. Roaches in the hall. Complained to reception and offered us another room on 2nd Floor. went out to car to find handle broken where someone had obviously tried to break into car. Didn't stay the 2nd night.

Thank you for your comments in this forum. I apologize for the unwanted guests in your suite, our pest control company made a visit just this week to ensure they are kept away. I can understand your dissatisfaction as all of our guests should expect a clean, well maintained, bug free, and safe environment. Your review will be used as an example so we can determine where we failed and how we can improve for our valued guests. Having you back as our guest would be our pleasure. General Manager

Horrible Stay!

Posted Nov 16, 2016
Pros: The check-in and check-out process was quick and easy and the staff was friendly.
Cons: I didn't like the room, the amenities, and definitely didn't like the uninvited guest (ROACHES).
I was highly disappointed with this hotel. The biggest issue was that we had ROACHES in our room! They were first spotted in the bathroom and then in the area were the beds were and then all by the door to the room. It was so bad that we had to check out of the hotel and go find another one in the middle of the night. The hotel staff at the front desk didn't seem surprised or appalled when we reported this which made me believe this is not a new discovery. We were offered another room but we declined. I can't imagine that this problem is confined to only the room we were in. Needless to say, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and definitely will not be staying here again.

Ashley, thank you for sharing your comments about your recent stay with us. After a positive check-in experience we can understand why your overall experience was tainted by what you discovered in your guest suite. Part of our maintenance program is to treat all guest suites, as well as the interior and exterior of the property to prevent these "visitors" from making an appearance, and we sincerely apologize for their untimely appearance in your suite. We will evaluate and modify our treatment program to prevent future uninvited guests such as this. Thank you again for taking the time to share your comments. Sincerely, General Manager

Pleasant and convenient!

Posted Nov 12, 2016
Location: We were staying there for a medical appt and the location was perfect for us.
My husband and I only stayed one nite. However our experience was nice. After reading some of the reviews I was a bit concerned. The hotel is older and perhaps could use some brightening in the lobby however our room was spacious, very clean and the bed was comfortable. Its obvious that some people just love to complain about everything. Some are never happy. All in all, I would recommend this as middle of the road hotel, its not the Ritz but your not paying Ritz pricing. Oh the staff were all very very nice and helpful. A big plus...

Posted Nov 12, 2016

Cons: There were a couple different kinds of bugs living there with us

Hotel is a dump. I booked through Expedia and when I went to check in they made me put a $100 deposit down. They said that is standard when you use a third party vendor. First time I've ever had that issue. Secondly the towels are super thin. Have fun trying to dry yourself off after a shower with those. Thirdly the noise. Walls are super thin and the best thing was the biker outside our window blaring music when we where trying to sleep. I should have paid the extra few dollars and stayed somewhere else. I've stayed at extended stay's before to but I've never had one this bad.
