Unpleasant (except for the desk manager)

Posted Nov 27, 2016
Pros: The gentleman at the desk was very polite.
Cons: Major remodel, retrain housekeeping.
Check-in was smooth. Room was awful and when I mentioned the cobwebs, sticky tile, and last guest's hair in the bathroom... I was not offered a different room. The desk person came and tried to clean it (while I was in the room.) He was very friendly and apologized, but if there were a refund available, I would have taken it! The hotel needs serious remodeling. Appliances are very outdated, cabinets were gross, and bathroom was just ick. I was very grateful that I didn't need to cook there or take a full bath.

Kelly, Thank you for sharing your feedback, positive and negative. Again, I apologize we were not able to move you to an alternate suite and for the reasons of your dissatisfaction. We are committed to our guests satisfaction, and I will continue to work with our housekeeping team to ensure they are following their protocols for a clean and fresh suite. We agree, there are areas which need to be refreshed and updated. We are in discussion with our brand leaders to finalize a plan for future implementation. We do hope to have you back as our guest again soon. General Manager

Don't bother.

Posted Nov 17, 2016
Cons: When I went to us the phone it was absolutely filthy. Disgusting. Trash everywhere and in the stairwell. The lobby was disgusting and worn down.
Location: Location is great. Surprised how run down it was for that area.
It was not a clean property. Run down outside and inside.

Any Port in a Storm

Posted Oct 10, 2016
We booked this hotel the day before Hurricane Matthew arrived in Florida. We live in the same town as the hotel, however, our house was located in a flood zone and we had to evacuate. The hotel never lost power, which was great! It was pet-friendly, which was not a feature we needed but we thought was also great. We never heard any animals except when we ventured outside the room. The front office staff were courteous and professional. The décor and furnishings were weathered and worn. The carpet smelled a tad bit musty. Having to carry my old towels over to the front office and wait 3 hours for new ones was a inconvenience.

Hotel in Jacksonville

Posted Sep 21, 2016
Pros: It was priced OK, a little high for the lack of stuff in the room.
Cons: They are an Extended Stay, put things in the room to stay and fix meals, that are usable. When the rooms are cleaned, clean them really well.
Location: The location is close the freeway, without being next to it. We attended meetings at a near by hotel, much nicer and much more cost per room.
We were there 4 nights, would have left the first night if possible. Room did NOT even have a coffee pot, or classes/cups. Had to ask 2 times for stuff to use in the room with a microwave, stove top and frig! The put out staff finally got us 2 plates, 2 bowls, 2 super crappy spoons, forks, and knifes, and 2 cups and a tiny coffee pot. For an extended stay, they provided NOTHING. In addition, the walls are super thin, we could here our neighbors TV, Radio, and personal talk late into the night! Not over clean, carpet was really nasty and many broken non-working things in the room. It was in an OK part of town.

Thank you for being our guest and for your review. I am disappointed to hear that your stay did not live up to your expectations. I am sorry for the slow and inhospitable service received from our front desk when requesting your kitchen items. We keep these items upon request so that they are always clean for the next guest. That being said our staff should be fulfilling your requests promptly and with a smile. I have shared your comments with them to be sure we are always providing the best services possible. I do hope you will reconsider a stay with us so we can show you a much improved experience next time. General Manager

This was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed

Posted Sep 19, 2016
Pros: Absolutely nothing
Cons: Everything.
Location: The location was nice and it's sad to say that this hotel should not be located where it is at.
The room was absolutely horrible. I have pictures to show how horrible it was. The room smelled so bad I about choked. The bathroom floor, toilet and bathtub looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a month. We were up all night because there was fighting in the parking lot at 2:00 in the morning and people in and out all night long. The sheets were stained and I could not even sleep under the blanket. I had to sleep fully dressed with no blanket. Needless to say, I moved from this hotel the very next day. I have pictures of all of the above and would be more than happy to provide them to management. I would not even let my dog stay at this hotel.

Close to the towncenter mall, stores and food

Posted Jul 26, 2016
Pros: Close to everything
Cons: Tile or vinyl flooring, carpets can really be gross and smelly
Location: Super location for shopping, dining and visiting
If these hotels would just tile or vinyl the floors they'd be super, carpets get smelly. The room we had was large, comfortable and had an efficient kitchenette to use.
