Nice hotel. Walking distance to the beach.

Some staff members friendlier than others. Angela the manager was awesome. Notified the front desk of an issue which was resolved quickly. Word of caution... when booking through a third party vendor if there any changes that result in room rate changes, be prepared for extra charges being held on your credit card for a few days.

Easy access to beach,short drive to Historic town

Pros: Easy access to things in the area, breakfasts were good, staff pretty friendly.
Cons: Little things in the room, cups to be replaced each day, the ice bucket emptied and liner replaced.
We were welcomed to the Hotel by Shannon. She was quite efficient and gave us good information as to how to get to the restaurants, (which ones were recommended), and to the Historic downtown area. She also helped us with information about the river tours. Which we were also able to enjoy. We especially enjoyed the tour guide Dave. Lots of historical information from him.

Nice hotel walk to the beach and restaurants

Pros: Walking distance to good restaurants and the beach
Cons: Arrived at 3pm check in time and room was not ready - had to wait 45 min. or so
Location: Beach is close as well as some shopping
Enjoyable stay within walking distance everywhere. There are three good restaurants across the street and at the beach and close shopping for beach supplies.

Good price for the location

The hotel is close to the beach and is good overall. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I loved the free cookies at 4pm. I'm not a big fan of the breakfast (not many options and mainly sweets). The airco in the room is a bit loud but not too loud.

Close to beach

Hotel staff were excellent. Room was too crowded for a family of 4. Too much unnec essary furniture. Bathroom could have been cleaner. Mattresses need replacing. But still a good experience.

Clean rooms and friendly staff.

Close to beach and convenient location. Lobby is very small and morning breakfast was cramped.

Nice hotel by the beach

Nice hotel with a very friendly staff. Walk 2 minutes to the beach and restaurants nearby. Free chairs and towels to take to the beach was nice. Very friendly, I would go back.

Old, Dirty and smells

Hotel was not clean. Carpets were nasty, couch was not clean.

Great staff and quick walk to the beach

The hotel was clean with a friendly staff. Breakfast was wonderful every morning. They loan out beach chairs and towels which was very helpful. We will stay there again!

Overpriced for what you get.

Room was somewhat disappointing for a Hampton Inn. There was a chair with an ottoman jammed in between the bed and the wall. No light above the chair. Had to climb over the ottoman in order to sit on the chair. I seriously doubt the area under or around this chair gets the cleaning it should get. Wifi was lousy considering the room was on the ground floor right off of the lobby. Overall the hotel was OK however, the room is not worth the advertised sale price of $129.00 and certainly no where near worth the regular price of$159.00.
