The start of my stay at the hotel was wonderful. I had a very long travel day, as my flights were delayed and checked into the hotel about 11:30pm. Upon check-in I was met by a very friendly front desk representative named Erik, who was a pleasure to deal with. He was helpful, knowledgeable and quick. To my surprise when I got to the room, he had upgraded my room to a pool view room. The view was great and the beds were very comfortable. The stay was going great until the day I checked out. I went to the front desk to ask if they could hold my bags for 30 minutes until my Uber picked me up to go to the airport. Upon arriving at the front desk, I was met by the representative, an older woman, who had the audacity to grill me about my service dog. She was rude and abrupt, started asking inappropriate questions about my disability and then started mocking me. It was honestly humiliating. Needless to say, I was shocked and taken aback, as I did not have this experience with any other employees at the hotel during my four night stay. The hotel needs to educate their employees on service animal policies and procedures. I will be filing a complaint against this hotel, so no one else will have to endure this treatment moving forward. It was such a shame that my stay was tainted by this employee and that the hotel would allow such a person to represent them.
