Excellent Experience. The rooms were immaculate. Breakfast very good. Grounds beautiful with plenty of meeting rooms. Hotel staff at the superior level. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Jacksonville

Great Location, Good Value

Pros: Location
Cons: We had a handicap room and the shower is such that the water went everywhere. Understandably we didn't have a need for a handicap shower.
Location: Great Shopping, Restaurants. Close to the beach.
We stayed for a quick weekend visit to Jacksonville. The hotel is in a great location, it is very easy to get to and convenient to many restaurants and shopping. Close to the beach about 10 to 15 min. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our room was clean and very comfortable.

No key for room

I would have rated the hotel much higher if not for what I consider to be an inexcusable problem. When we checked in, we were unable to get the key to our room to work. Someone from the front desk made the comment that the door was a little 'sticky' and that he would come up and check. He was able with a little difficulty to get us in and said he would come back up to resolve the problem. He was not able to get a key to work and couldn't move us to another room because none were available. He offered a breakfast on the house (although the ticket was for one breakfast and there were two of us). At breakfast, my wife and I had to eat separately since we both couldn't leave the room at the same time without a key. In my many years of travel, I've never been left with a room with no key. Fortunately, we were there for just one night. When asked by the front desk upon check out about our stay, I told them I thought the situation was inexcusable especially since it sounded like they knew the door lock was a problem and should of had it fixed and certainly not booked the room if it was not. They did not charge us for the room as part of their guarantee. Aside from that the hotel and room were fine.

This was an overnight stay. Heading to Disney. Room was very nice. Excellent place to stay. Vey clean and quite. Would stay ther again.
