We do apologize for the issues you have stated that you had during your stay. We are under renovations right now and they plan to be done in about 7 months. Hopefully, next time you stay with us, you stop by the desk if you are not satisfied with the room, we would have tried to fix it. We look forward to your next visit.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The location was great, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and spacious. The coffee was good, but the breakfast provided by most hotels wasn't to my liking.

My wife and I stayed here for the 2023 Taxslayer Gator Bowl. It was very close to the stadium. It was in a nice area and it was quiet. There was a parking garage next to the hotel. The downside to the parking is that it costs $20 a night. There was a local transportation stop at the hotel which was convenient for us because it took us straight to the stadium. It also cost money but it was probably equal to or less than the amount one would have paid for a rideshare to the stadium. We did not take part in the free breakfast because we chose to find a local joint before the game. Maple Street Biscuits is a good restaurant and very close to the hotel. We did go down for the breakfast on the day we checked out between 9:00 AM and 9:30 AM and there was hardly anything left. We grabbed a banana and a cup of juice and decided to go to Starbucks instead. My dislikes of the hotel included not being able to use the front door of the hotel because it was “broken” on the night we arrived which required us to have to walk through the adjoining hotel to get to the other side of the hotel to take the elevator up to our room only to find out that same door was magically working the next morning. Also, the digital keys weren’t working when I tried to check in on the Hilton app earlier in the day which required us to have to check in at the desk at 11 PM at night to get key cards. Not a big problem but when you’ve been driving for several hours, all you want to do is go straight to your room.

The property was clean, very nice staff, great breakfast & kitchen staff. The fake wood floor had water damage the bedroom a/c unit was broken and making noise constantly multiple ice machines were not working and reported multiple times but not fixed. The couch in the living room was quite old and stained -soiled. Place needs updates. Convenient walk to Chart House & water taxi.

From what I can see from what the interior designers are putting together, the rooms will be spectacular for our guests! Overall the hotel was great. The room was spacious for a family of six. My mom came a long and is disabled. The carpet from the kitchen to living area was a trip hazard because it was lifting up and frayed. The beds were comfortable. The remotes lacked batteries to work the TV so had some spares in luggage to use. It was quiet. Breakfast was typical eggs bacon sausage and biscuit. Security wise I felt safe.

The staff here is great. The hotel is located close to the Jaguars stadium- which was why we were in town - and within walking distance to the San Marcos historic district. There is a large parking garage adjacent to the hotel with plenty of parking. Some of the furnishings in our unit were beginning to show their age but everything was clean. We would stay here again.

We stayed here for one night one our road trip back home. We arrived late at night and checked out in the morning before check out time. A few days after checking out, we noticed a $500 extra charge on our room. After calling to ask about it, I was told it was for a broken marble table they found in the room after we checked out and blamed us for breaking it, and they sent me a picture of it. However, we did NOT break this table. And the best part was I actually took a whole video footage of the entire 2 bedroom suite right before leaving and checking out. In the video that I took the table is clearly shown and it IS NOT BROKEN. I took the video at 10:19am and then showed the manager that I spoke to proof from my state-farm app that we were on the road at 10:32am. Even after sending them the video and proof of when we had left, the manager I spoke to said she sent the information to her boss and that the charge was sticking. I will never again stay at this hotel. Can't be sure that the dishonest employees won't break something and then blame you for it and charge you! If we had broken that table, or anything else in the room for that matter, we would absolutely be willing to pay for it. But knowing we did not, showed them evidence, and are still being charged for it is so troubling.

My Stay
The hotel is very nice and so was our room. The hallway was very hot since the hallway A/C was not working. However, our bedroom A/C was working fine. The only real negative was that the free breakfast buffet was not good at all, Overall I would recommend the hotel. However , I wouldn’t recommend the breakfast buffet ( terrible).

Horrible smell in the hallways. Phone didn't work. Sink drain backed up. No sheets for the pull out. no sugar or creamer. dishes and pans were crusty. Service was nonexistent. I was charged for my stay again even though I'd already paid through Hotel.com - still fighting that one wasting hours of my time. I always stay at Hilton properties. Hopefully this was an aberration
