Nice hotel by airport

Pros: clean rooms
Location: not many places to eat nearby
This is a very nice Microtel Inn. Rooms are clean, staff was friendly, even though extremely busy. Would stay again.

Not what we were expecting

Pros: The coffee was good. Staff was very good.
Location: Florida Theatre. Beautiful old theatre. Been there many times for events.
We expected a smaller room BUT a very small room for the price. Bed sank in the middle making it very hard to sleep since we both ended up in the middle and had to climb out of the hole many times through the night so as not to sleep on top of each other. As very frequent travelers we've had better beds in some swayback, in the boonies, 1950's motels we've been in. This is a "will not return to Microtel" review!

Have your name on the van

Pros: It was close to the airport
When I called for the airport shuttle, at 11pm they said they would send it right out. And I waited and waited. 20 mins later I called back....she claimed it had been there. I asked what does the van look like......Oh it has "Bus Center" or something like that on it. Silly me...I had expected a van with the hotel name on it! The hotel person should have told me what to look for. I was not the only one this happened to.

Impressive and Quiet home away from home.

Pros: Your night crew
Cons: Every thing us great and can't think of any changes.
Location: location was easy to find and shopping was great as was the food.
This hotel was very clean, room was very comfortable and the pillows were great! Your night crew go above and beyond helping us and were so nice. Would stay there when ever the need presents.

Great stay for the price .

Always a friendly staff, got an early check in due to early flight arrival, free airport shuttle a nice amenity , overall nice hotel for the price.

bed skirts need cleaned

Bed skirts stained with what looked like milk stains. Need cleaned. Breakfast was not like most motels. Refrigerated biscuits or English muffin with egg that you heated in microwave with no directions as to how to heat, yogurt, bananas, oranges ,bags of oatmeal,corn flakes. That was about it. Very small area off lobby to eat. Not at all appetizing.

Nice hotel, close to airport

Pros: Close to highway, shopping and airport.
Location: Shopping center nearby with lots of different food choices. Very close to airport.
Room was clean for the most part. Air conditioner needed to be vacuumed out, but otherwise was nice. Small room, but was only for two of us and mostly just for sleeping. Would stay here again!

Microtel Jacksonville Airport

Not a good experience. Location is inconvenient to access. Have to go down the street and make u-turns to get into the parking lot. Long wait to check in. Need more staff during busy check-in times. Furniture in room worn and needed replacing. Rooms are too noisy. I could hear cars and people in the parking lot and tv and talking from the room next to mine.
