Friendly Staff

I stayed in this hotel when it was the Ramada, and since the take over. Ive stayed here on numerous occasions, and I have to say they're by far the nicest folks around. They go out of their way to please, and always a happy and cheerful smile when they see you headed their way. Love them.

IT IS A MODEST MOTEL

Pros: IT WAS INEXPENSIVE.
Cons: PLEASE SEE ABOVE.
Location: LOCATION WAS GOOD. WE WERE VERY CLOSE TO CAMP LAJUENE AND TO MOREHEAD CITY AND ATLANTIC BEACH.
IT IS A MODEST LOW PRICED MOTEL FOR THOSE ON A BUDGET. MY WINDOW HAD A BIG CRACK IN IT AND THE ROOM HAD SEVERAL FLIES I HAD TO SWAT BEFORE RETIRING. THERE WAS A DOMESTIC DISPUTE NEXT DOOR IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT. THE CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST WAS ALSO VERY MODEST( YOU WOULD DO BETTER AT MCDONALDS OR BOJANGLES.).

Motel 6 review

It was a nice hotel except for the room door didn't seem to close fully. Overall, the night spent went well and didn't offer breakfast at the hotel

What in the world?

Pros: he lady that works at night on sunday evening of my arrival was such a nice sweet lady. She was the only reason why I did not go to a different hote
Cons: everything I listed in my experience
Location: econo lodge next door is better waffle house next to hotel is good.
-There was hair in the sink when I arrived. -The floor was dirty when I arrived. -Bed sheets were not clean ones switched out, just same ones fixed up. -TV was not working b/c someone did not know how to place the HDMI cord in the proper port, -i had to do it myself -The phone in the room did not work -Indian dude was rude -Curtains do not close far enough the lobby stinks every time I come, get some carpet freshener or something and some certified hospitality staff. There is a community college near by with classes that will train them.

A little common sense would go a long way.

Just go somewhere else. The rooms weren't too terrible. Staff started out wonderful, but by 2nd day were rude and disrespectful. Bed broken in half, so it reminded me of the 'I Love Lucy' episode in which Uncle Ernie had to try and sleep on the roll away bed. Housekeeping staff terrible and bothersome. Front desk not apologetic for their screw ups. Just rude. The carpet was absolutely gross! For a 1 night, don't have a choice it's okay. BUT WHATEVER YOU DO...don't extend or confuse the staff cause they can't keep up.

Disappointed

Pros: Price was what the room was worth but will never book there every again
Cons: The hotel was nothing I expected at all it was dirty had roaches bathroom had falling plaster falling in shower. The online site showed something much different. Really need to be updated online site so ppls know what to expect.
Location: Dining area, shopping center was not far out

Location: Location was close to several places to eat, and easy in and out. I got the feeling it was not the safest location.
The rooms were better than expected, but disappointing none the less. Staff started out very, very nice, but by the second day of my stay, staff members were dismissive and rude. I requested to be left alone, only to have staff banging on my door, attempting to enter, as I tried to sleep in due to not feeling well. When I tried to send staff away, they began screaming my name, and pounding on the door harder! There was no do not disturb sign to hang on my door, staff required I sign that I was refusing service from housekeeping. When I complained, I was told that hotels no longer use those anywhere. I did tell the front desk the night before to not bother me, I wanted to sleep in the next day. And since when have hotels stop using do not disturb placards? As recently as 2 days ago, the hotel I stayed at had one on the door. The bed was broken to the point I had to sleep cross ways. The room was superficially clean, but the carpet needed a serious cleaning. The shower was decent, but had signs of serious water leak problems. The door did not shut properly, but did latch and lock with a little weight pressed against it. There was a fridge and microwave in the room, which I did not use. The tv was an old box type that had volume problems, and the cable constantly froze while watching tv. For the price ($35), it was decent enough room. There are no amenities offered. And if you are cold natured, but can't stand heat on, bring a blanket. They dont have blankets on their beds.

Some of the staff were rude. Physical plant falling apart. A/C was the positive in my room. Lobby does not offer a complementary breakfast, only coffee. Online website said breakfast was offered. When asked, the staff said that it was owned by another chain until 6 months ago. I am angry that the online add listed Motel 6 with a breakfast 6 months ago. Very frustrating. A person was sleeping on the outside steps during the night. No security.

just a place to stay

Location: many restaurants
booked this for the convenience that they had a pool for my girlfriend while i was at sons graduation showed up pool was closed room musty very run down i actually left a day early not the place for a vacation

Not recommended....cheap price, cheap service

Pool was closed, desk staff very rude and spoke poor English.... assistance was not prompt, and no breakfast was offered, coffee that was offered was empty
