As if pulling up and seeing a grown man taking a crap in the street wasnt horrible enough we woke up to roaches in our bed and in our room. 14th floor. Was told I'd be contacted by management but they clearly arent that concerned with resolving the issues because i havent heard anythibg at all.

This hotel is very clean, and the staff are polite and helpful. My only problem is with the amenities for the price of the stay. There is no breakfast, and there isn’t even a microwave in the rooms. There is also no fan in the bathrooms so we had to leave our bathroom door open. I was also overcharged. The receipt sent to my email showed the price I agreed to at booking, and the charge on my bank statement was $90 more. So dealing with the accounting department is another downer. I most likely will not stay here again.

I wasn’t aware of the $15 parking fee everytime you leave out, I booked this hotel based off the pictures provided and it looked nothing like it was, the pool was my main attraction but it unfortunately was under construction and I didn’t know. I will say it was VERY clean and quiet!

The hotel is in walking distance to the Riverwalk path. It is also across from the Performing arts if you are looking to attend any events. The restaurant onsite has great tasting food and their happy hour was good.

Extremely hard to get to due to construction and one way streets. Called to get a late checkout and employee was rude. Had to get and load our own cart upon arrival that had a sharp edged screw that cut hand. For the price,not worth it

We enjoyed our stay. We were in town for the Gator Bowl and it was in walking distance for the stadium. (About 1 1/4 miles) The river walk is very nice and you are able to walk over the bridge if wanted. The rooms were nice and the staff attentive.

Hotel is not in a great area of dt Jax. Nice lobby and bar/restaurant, but service was slow as they were understaffed. Bfast is only the $23 buffet. Not great. No fruit, and I am celiac so very limited options. Rooms were ok but not worth $500 eac per night to view the parking lot. Charged me for internet which I had removed after I told them I was an Amex Platinum member. I would try to stay elsewhere if I go there again.

Do yourself a favor and pay $100 more to stay at the Hyatt, instead of the Marriott. We paid ultra premium prices on a Thursday night. They nickel and dime you to death, $29 parking, terrible parking setup (must pull into a narrow valet lane). Valet staff were very lackadaisical, vehicles back flowed down the street and around the corner. Very little information given by lobby staff upon check-in. For being an expensive Marriott, they didn’t make you feel welcome, and didn’t share any information on how to make the stay more comfortable (nothing about local places to eat or ways to get around). Neither the front lobby staff nor the valet staff seemed willing to help, nor did they communicate with each other. There was no free internet (nor did they inform me that there even was WiFi), dirty part of town, zero security and homeless people coming up to you when trying to get in your vehicle. Their “late night food”, which they tried to funnel people into towards closing of their bar, literally consisted of Doritos and M&M’s, priced at $7 and $8. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel - we’ll never stay here again.

Property is in not so good conditions. Rooms are not clean at all,Carpet looks very dirty. There was chips packs under the beds .Elevators smells terrible . The door in our room was stock and we wait like half an hour for someone to help us , Finally was my husband who resolved the problem . The staff was nice.

Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, room was very nice, elevators ran fast, interior very attractive. Appreciated "quiet hours". Hallway was unpleasantly cold. I prefer a much firmer mattress. Wish room contained literature/info on local dining/attractions.
