Won't stay here again.

I admit I arrived tired and wanted only to settle in, drink a little wine, order room service and watch the election returns. I wanted a nice hotel with a tiny bit of luxury. Ramadas provide this. I was hopeful and tired when I showed up. The desk clerk was very helpful and friendly, explained they had no room service nor an elevator, but she would move me to a room on the ground floor and I could order food from the bar. I parked, unloaded the necessary luggage, and ordered some fish tacos, (the guys at the bar said they were good and the menu was limited to bar food, all fried. They were good) The room was pitch dark, I had no idea how to find a light switch but the desk clerk sent a technician who showed me where everything was. I found dirty towels in the closet in the bathroom but enough clean towels in the bathroom for the night. The bed was lumpy, very unusual in a hotel, especially one that was supposedly just refurbished. But my impression is this place is primary a Comedy Club location. That is their focus; great laughter and noise were coming from a room in the lobby marked Comedy Club. They sold souvenirs in the lobby. Overnight guests seem to be a side business and not the focus of this Ramada. The next morning the breakfast was plentiful but all the tables felt dirty and sticky. The waitress explained it was the cleaning staff and the product they used. The coffee was weak, the eggs looked powdery and overcooked and I was really glad to leave.
