I was able to receive a very good price at this Hotel ,and was welcomed by a very friendly desk representative. They also gave me free access to the Comedy Club. Very funny show. The next morning, I had a very tasty breakfast at their Buffet. I would definitely recommend this hotel

Good deal; Great Staff

Posted Dec 4, 2016
Location: Shopping centers of all levels Easy access to interstates
Really like the staff. They make a medium grade hotel so nice. Rooms are clean and linens are really nice. Pillows are excellent as is the bed. The included breakfast is really yummy and offers a great selection. Great location just off 295. Needs: Better room lighting, a useable electric outlet at the desk, better cable choices on TV, longer hours ( and posted hours) for the bar.

Ramada in Mandarin

Posted Dec 2, 2016
This is a nice hotel to stay at, reasonably priced and clean. Rooms are a little dated but the room is good for the price.

Pros: Everything was wonderful! The breakfast servers were very attentive.
Cons: Everything was wonderful about my stay, but I found the mattress to be a bit firm. Other than that, it was a lovely stay.

Won't stay here again.

Pros: The TV worked and no one tried to break into my room. I admit I was a bit nervous.
Cons: It should either become a hotel or a Comedy Club. The area around the pool, where I was, was unsupervised, rooms were dark, housekeeping is sloppy.
Location: There is a Whole Foods nearby, a nice mini mall with dentist, manicurist, etc. Clean, attractive area, upscale. Other hotels that might be better.
I admit I arrived tired and wanted only to settle in, drink a little wine, order room service and watch the election returns. I wanted a nice hotel with a tiny bit of luxury. Ramadas provide this. I was hopeful and tired when I showed up. The desk clerk was very helpful and friendly, explained they had no room service nor an elevator, but she would move me to a room on the ground floor and I could order food from the bar. I parked, unloaded the necessary luggage, and ordered some fish tacos, (the guys at the bar said they were good and the menu was limited to bar food, all fried. They were good) The room was pitch dark, I had no idea how to find a light switch but the desk clerk sent a technician who showed me where everything was. I found dirty towels in the closet in the bathroom but enough clean towels in the bathroom for the night. The bed was lumpy, very unusual in a hotel, especially one that was supposedly just refurbished. But my impression is this place is primary a Comedy Club location. That is their focus; great laughter and noise were coming from a room in the lobby marked Comedy Club. They sold souvenirs in the lobby. Overnight guests seem to be a side business and not the focus of this Ramada. The next morning the breakfast was plentiful but all the tables felt dirty and sticky. The waitress explained it was the cleaning staff and the product they used. The coffee was weak, the eggs looked powdery and overcooked and I was really glad to leave.

Your feedback is insightful and we appreciate you staying with us recently. We can assure you that our guests are our main priority here at the Ramada Jacksonville Hotel and Conference Center and we apologize if that was not made evident to you during your recent visit. It is unfortunate that your experience was more enjoyable as we would have hoped and we are sorry for that.

Fantastic staff. Okay room. NO elevators

Posted Oct 17, 2016
Location: Jacksonville has a lot of attractions from golf to beaches to great restaurants.
Main reason we stayed there is because they are VERY PET FRIENDLY. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast buffet was very good. Only negative was that our pet friendly room was on the second floor. It was a major pain to take the doggies in and out.

Some staff ruined it for the rest!

Posted Oct 17, 2016
I had to ask 6 different times for people not to smoke outside of my room because my air conditioning would bring it directly into my room. Four of those times were from the staff two of them from the same person. When I talk to the front desk about it they apologized but didn't really seem to care.

Nice hotel except for....

Posted Sep 24, 2016
Pros: Convenient to my mother's assisted living residence. Having a Whole Foods supermarket across was a definite plus.
Cons: Musty smell in the room probably from the carpet.
Location: Very convenient neighborhood. Plenty of restaurants and stores nearby including a Whole Foods supermarket.
This is the second time I have stayed here, and both times have been positive experiences. I guess because I had a cheap rate, I was assigned a room adjacent to I-295 and highway construction next to the freeway. It was noisy especially in the middle of the night when all the big trucks high balled along the road. While my room was comfortable and kept clean, I was bothered by a strong musty smell that, I think, came from the room's carpet and most likely, carpet pad. It was pretty strong to me. I smelled it when entering the room and when waking up at night. Since my stay was short--just four nights--I didn't complain. Otherwise, the room was serviced daily and I thought the staff was friendly and very responsive to my requests. The staff that worked the breakfast rush were extrordinarily friendly and competent.

Hotel accesible, bien ubicado y limpio

Posted Sep 23, 2016
