Disappointing

Cons: Communication. And not laughing when we told of our experience at the front desk at midnight.
It started well enough with a friendly staff member greeting us the first night and being helpful about how to find our room and making our dog feel welcome. Then it went straight downhill. We were in Sawgrass to help care for my wife's mother who was recovering from a stay in the hospital and I planned to work remotely from the room while my wife was tending her mother during the day. That lasted two days until Internet access was interrupted by construction work with no offer of changing rooms. So I found another location from which to work, returning late that night only to find that our door lock had been changed with no warning (or even a note on the door to tell me it had happened so I could figure out what was going on). If this wasn't disappointing enough, after working off-site all the next day (because no Internet access) I returned late to find the new keys to the new lock didn't work and I had to return once again to the main hotel building (running through badly aimed sprinklers both going and coming and getting soaked in the process). The facilities were in the right place for us and were accommodating to our having to have our dog but the hotel simply failed to deliver on their promise. There is simply no rational excuse for opening a hotel door that has a "do not disturb" sign hanging on it and taking it apart, replacing the entire locking mechanism; then putting it back together again without any communication to me that it had happened. Wow!

Dated and in rough shape.

Stayed in a villa. Noisy air conditioner. So loud that it woke us up through out the night. Dangling electrical wires. Decor dated.

Charges for parking

I concider those charges for parking excesive or at least let the customer know that they will be charged for the use of valet

This is a nice hotel with gorgeous resort. The only complain in not changing the bed sheet even though we ask for and they were not clean!

Very Nice Room

The room was very nice, comfortable and clean. I would definitely stay here again. My only complaint is that we were charged with a $25 resort fee for our one night stay. This was on top of the room charge and taxes that were estimated when we booked the hotel. The $25 charge was not disclosed through Expedia. The property is beautiful, and I'm sure there were many amenities that come with that fee. However, we only needed a room for the night. If we were staying for a vacation, it would have been worth the extra charge, but for an overnight, I would haven chosen a different location had I known.

Hazardous condition not address

The second day we were there it rain and I noticed that the hallway leading to our room was flooded with rain water since the hallways are open do the rain water went in. There was no way to avoid the water because that was the only path to go to our room. As soon as I got to our roomi immediately called the desk to address the problem . I told them that if somebody slip and fall on that flooded hallway they can be in big trouble with all the injuries and lawsuit and I was told that they will send the housekeeping staff. In the evening after 4 or 5 hours and the rain had stopped for a few hours we went out for dinner, so when we were walking in the same hallway the flooded floor was still there. No one came to fix it. My point is you allowed your guests to be subjected to accidents by slipping and falling due to the slippery floors. Very poor customer service and I won't be surprise if they get a lawsuit one day

Nice hotel but construction

The construction was terrible. A lot of noise. I could not get any rest.

The view from the very start was breathe taking, the staff was very pleasant and inviting! Clean rooms, amazing views, beautiful pools and awesome golf! I'd give it a 10 if I could!!!! Love this place....

Best staff in the world, but..

The rooms, facilities, and grounds are pristine. I've never encountered such friendly and outgoing staff. My issue is that I stay at hotels to work and sleep. I stayed in a villa, and heard everything my neighbors were doing. Maybe it's different in the tower, but if you need quiet, the villa isn't for you.
