Bugs

Posted Sep 17, 2016
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Clean it up
I rented 5 rooms and all of them had plenty of bugs. It was so bad that 2 of my men slept in their trucks in the parking lot from 2:00 A.M. on.

The room was fine considering the price. The refrigerator door would not close all the way. The bed was comfortable and the cable worked, my two most important requirements.

BED BUGS- STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL

Posted Jun 9, 2016 on Hotels
WARNING- STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL. I stayed at SUPER 8 SOUTH - JACKSONVILLE 5018 University Blvd W, Jacksonville, FL, 32216, United States of America, ??855-238-1592 (Wednesday June 1st - Sunday June 5th) During the stay I've noticed some bites, but I thought they are from mosquitoes, but they were actually from bed bugs. The TERRIBLE NIGHTMARE started after I got back home and spreading it in my apartment. The beg bugs from the hotel got into my luggage and clothes and spread in my apartment. Instead of going back to work I spent the day at the doctor because I was horrified of the bites I had all over my body. He has confirmed that it's bites from bed bugs. I had to throw away my brand new Loui Vuitton luggage which costs $1,795.00 and my new Loui Vuitton backpack which costs $1,695.00. How can this happen??? All of my clothes are taken to the laundry company to see if they can save any by extra drying them (as I was advised). I have 6 large begs that I just drooped of. I also called exterminator to get rid of all the bed bugs that got into my apartment. The exterminator in will cost me $3,500.00 (I'm New York City resident). I've called the hotel and ask to speak with a manager and explain what happened, but nobody got back to me. This was terrible experience, even worst outcome. I am currently living in a nightmare fighting with bed bugs in my apartment. People please stay away from this hotel.

the service wasn't bad, we were offered a non smoking rooms when we accidently booked smoking. but the room is in shambles. the outlets aren't connected to the wall (plug in a charger and watch the outlet wiggle), the room smelled terrible and the shower was disgusting. Residue build up on the shower head made the shower next to impossible you use and the drain stopper was sitting on the side of the tub, not even in the drain. Obviously you get what you pay for, but I would definitely splurge a little next time to make sure you're not staying in filth. it's honestly a hotel meant for drug deals and prositution. something you would see on a movie.
